October 2 - Saturday

Found my old Razor phone and charger. This text was still on it. I blurred out the name just cause. That was a really fun night. And I have really, really, great, great friends.

October 3 - Sunday

Went to see my little sister who's visiting from NYC at my niece's soccor game. This guy was hard to photograph. He wouldn't stand still for too long.

October 4 - Monday

What is wrong with people? No wonder this country is going downhil. Who eats just the filling? Especially with Double Stuff. What a waste.

October 5 - Tuesday

Went to visit my parents. The Kolache Shoppe on Brentwood Stair was still open. Woo Hoo.

October 6 - Wednesday

Not something you see everyday. Had an interview today. It was a bit of a formal occasion compared to my usual interviews.

October 8 - Friday

Riley had another game. It was 35-0 by halftime so I was kind of bored. That and Riley was too far away to photograph.

October 9 - Saturday

RIley had a competition all day. They ended up placing 7th out of a bunch. I was really proud of how well she did.

October 11 - Monday

Riley had practice even though school was out.

October 12 - Tuesday

New lamp from Ikea. I just realized the lion is a screen cleaner. A very dear friend gave that to me years ago.

October 13 - Wednesday

Came home and realized I've been walking around looking like Alfalfa all day.

October 14 - Thursday

Working late tonight. I got this photo of the train at a stop light near 75. It was late in the evening and I was really wondering where my photo was going to come from.

October 15 - Friday

The office where I've been freelancing has flowers on the front desk every week. This was taken on my way out after another long day.

October 16 - Saturday

This is a plant my friend gave me before she moved to Tahoe. It's a small cutting from a plant she's had for years. I hope I don't kill it.

October 17 - Sunday

Anticipating that I'll have a new job soon, I went shoe shopping. Found these and now have to find just the right outfit to go with them. I hope you all know I'm kidding.

October 18 - Monday

A long time ago a very dear friend gave me a bottle of chocolate syrup. After she passed suddenly, I kept it in my fridge for years.

October 19 - Tuesday

Finally able to go see my doctor. Very expensive visit. Funny I can't watch getting a shot, but didn't have a problem looking at the camera to take a "shot". Ha

October 20 - Wednesday

How I really feel today, not just because I have arthritis, but not having insurance is a whole other kind of pain.

October 21 - Thursday

I almost didn't get my camera out in time for this. I tried to catch him to get a better photo but he was going really fast. You can barely see the spikes on the dogs helmet. He had on googles too.

October 22 - Friday

Got soaked going to Riley's game Friday night. In their rain gear I couldn't even tell which one was Riley. That and she was all the way across the field for the performance.

October 23 - Saturday

Riley had a band competition in Mesquite. They were able to complete the first part before canceling the finals because of the weather. Don't know what this tower is next to the stadium.

October 24 - Sunday

Had a get together at my sister's. My bother-in-law makes the best brownies. These were still warm.

October 25 - Monday

Riley had another performance. At the end all the bands, even some from the Middle Schools played. It was pretty cool to see.

October 26 - Tuesday

Took this in the Sam's parking lot while waiting for Riley to finish eating. The weather lately has been really great and the sunsets, really nice.

October 27 - Wednesday

I know this looks like poo on a spoon, but it's something my dad used to make us when we were little. Cookie Pudding...mmmm. Riley loves it too.

October 28 - Thursday

Made chicken in a tomato cream sauce for dinner. For those of you who don't know, I'm a pretty good cook. I might even go so far as to say a little better than decent.

October 29 - Friday

Woke up this morning as the newest member of the Dallas Chapter of the Lollipop Guild. Welcome to Munchkin Land everybody.

October 30 - Saturday

Cleaned out the car a bit. These are all my parking stubs from freelancing lately.

October 31 - Sunday

Took Riley and some of her friends out so they could go Trick or Treating just after the sunset.
