Went into Riley's room to get laundry and found this. Score!

August 3 - Wednesday

This was taken at 7:40pm. Damn it is still HOT! My dogs don't want to go for a walk and I don't want to take them. Works out well for all involved.

August 4 - Thursday

Went and picked up Riley and Rane from North Park after work. Riley bought me dinner. No it wasn't her leftovers. It was my own Spaghetti and Meatballs. How sweet is that? I'm not worried about growing old now.

August 5 - Friday

Went to lunch with some friends. Pizza and then yogurt from Yummilicious. Chocolate, with strawberries, chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbs. Mmmmmm.

August 6 - Saturday

Another really great Sunday. This time in Austin. Spent time with my daughter, my little sister, my "other" little sister, a friend and his family. Couldn't ask for a better day. Great bbq for lunch and dinner. Love Austin.

August 8 - Monday

Went to visit my friend and her new little one. Why do all baby boys look like old men. This one looks a little like Jack Nicholson. She even says so.

August 10 - Wednesday

Got out of work a little early and went to get my blood work done so I can keep getting my drugs on schedule. You don't want to see me without my drugs.

August 11 - Thursday

A friend's b-day at work. He, of all people, picked Tootsies, of all places. You'd have to know him. We all shared this dinner plate sized cinnamon roll.

August 12 - Friday

I am one of the lucky ones to get some of this home made pesto from a really sweet friend.

August 13 - Saturday

Woke up to the sound of a very light rain. For those is the area, you know how long it's been. Months it seems.

August 14 - Sunday

My first attempt at Blackberry Cobbler. Really good, but needs just a few tweeks. Not quite up there with the Salt Lick, yet.

August 16 - Tuesday

Got a new job offer today. Riley and I went out to celebrate. Both excited and nervous. I'm really gonna miss a lot of people when I leave.

August 17 - Wednesday

Okay while I was on my vacation back in June, my friends at work hid a bunch of my stuff. I had forgotten about all but the Buzz Lightyear. I'm gonna miss the guys in this building. I was fortunate to work with a really great group.

August 18 - Thursday

My friends upstairs had s'mores. Woo Hoo. Someone pointed out that a lot of my photos are of food. I'm not sure if they had a point or if it was just an observation.

August 19 - Friday

My office threw me a going away party at Sneeky Pete's. The whole agency shut down and went to the lake for the day. How cool is that?

August 20 - Saturday

Went out to water the lawn. My front yard is turning to hay. My outdoor cat came to keep me company on the porch.

August 21 - Sunday

I had some company today and decided to give this another try. The second time's a charm. Delicious.

August 22 - Monday

Had a bit of an issue moving the marble table yesterday. Ooops.

August 24 - Wednesday

The girl who makes all the really great stuff at work outdid herself. Mimosa jello shots! How cool is she/that?

August 25 - Thursday

I got some cards made so when I ask people to take pictures of their stuff they at least understand I'm not just a crazy person.

August 26 - Friday

Had lunch with a dear friend. Every time I have one of these it reminds me of my first trip to Belgium, where I had my first one.

August 27 - Saturday

The last preseason game. Woo Hoo!!! I am ready for some real football. Go Cowboys!

August 29 - Monday

Went to Riley's favorite place, Bucca di Bepo for a celebration dinner. She had her first day at Booker T. She has no idea how it feels to see her happy.

August 30 - Tuesday

Dropped Riley off at her new school this morning for the first time. I am so excited for her to be here with all of her friends.

August 31 - Wednesday

I'm not going to get to see the new Baptist Church finished. It's my last day and you would think I would have a better photo. I do but its of all my friends at lunch.
