Homemade meat sause and spaghetti for dinner. I made enough meat sauce to make some lasagna next week.

I went to pick up Riley from school. Considering how gloomy and rainy it was most of the day it was nice to see some blue sky peek through.

February 4, 2012 - Saturday

Had corny dogs for dinner again. It's hard not to play with your food when you have a squeeze bottle of anything.

February 5, 2012 - Sunday

Before going to my brohter's for the Super Bowl, I went to drop off some newspapers at the shelter where my neice volunteers. This is Tubs. She wants to take him home, but her parents would kill her. If you're going to get a dog please adopt don't buy.

February 6, 2012 - Monday

Having lived in this neighborhood for years when it was dry, sometimes I forget when I'm at home wishing I had a beer that I can walk out my back gate to the store behind the house and get one. (Or 12) I don't drink at home too often and don't usually keep beer in the fridge. I have some now!

February 7, 2012 - Tuesday

Surely I'm not the only one that, from time to time, craves a Hostess Cupcake. I pass them every time I go to the grocery store. Except this time. I gave in. Okay, I'll stop calling you Shirley now.

February 8, 2012 - Wednesday

I've been working on a web site for a company in Tahoe. I spent the day making a web gallery of all the photos I'm recommending we use for his site. I did all the photography at over 30 locations. This guy and his company do some really amazing work.

February 9, 2012 - Thursday

Here is one of the designs I did for the site I'm working on for this construction company. If any of you have the need of a construction company in the Tahoe area, this is THE MAN. Having grown up working in construction, I can testify this company's work is incredible.

February 10, 2012 - Friday

Went to have lunch with friends at the pizza place around the corner from their office. It was good to see them again. We even had a special last minute addition to our group.

February 11, 2012 - Saturday

Picked up some avocados the other day while I was at the grocery store. It took days for them ripen. Finally. I know I have more than a few pics of guacamole, but mine is really good.

February 12, 2012 - Sunday

Went and hung out with a friend this afternoon. She hates that squirrels eat all the bird seed out of her feeder. I think it's pretty impressive. Look at this guy hanging by his feet. It's like a cheep Cirque du Soleil.

February 14, 2012 - Tuesday

I went to pick up some Red Velvet Cake Balls for Riley for Valentine's. She loves them. They only make them with hearts on them at Valentine's. I picked up some Chocolate Buzz for myself. Woo hoo.

February 15, 2012 - Wednesday

Spent the afternoon out running around. I had lunch with friends at The Angry Dog and then spent some time at West Village until it was time to pick up Riley. It was such a beautiful day.

February 16, 2012 - Thursday

Woo Hoo. Finally got my shipment, a 90 day supply of my shot for my arthritis. It was beginning to get scary. Another week or so and life would really start sucking.

February 17, 2012 - Friday

When Shadow sleeps all curled up like this it makes me think I need to turn up the heat in the house. That, and I'm kinda cold now too. His winter coat seems to need a bit of a brushing too.

February 18, 2012 - Saturday

Been teaching myself how to make iBooks for the iPad. I'm using my photos from this site as a collection to build from along with a few other projects I've been working on.

February 19, 2012 - Sunday

Spent most of the day at a friends house smoking, eating really dry grilled chicken (there was no undercooked chicken in that meal) and drinking. Had a great time giving the "chef" a hard time. I made my required guacamole. It wasn't dry.

February 20, 2012 - Monday

Spent most of the day on my couch with my laptop working on a website for a client and the iBooks I've been creating. Zeke decided he needed some more couch time. He's such a funny guy, especially now that he's getting up in age and is pretty much deaf.

February 21, 2012 - Tuesday

Since these iBooks I'm making are pretty much just photos, the file sizes are getting pretty large. To keep them manageable I'm breaking them into 4 month editions. Kind of a boring week so far, but I'm filling my head with more knowledge.

February 22, 2012 - Wednesday

Another boring day working on my laptop on the couch. I've had the TV on while I'm working and I've been watching some shows that I've DVR'd. The latest episode of An Idiot Abroad is hilarious. I also record Archer. That show is horribly inappropriately funny and I really like the animation style.

February 23, 2012 - Thursday

Have you ever had one of those days where the wheels fall off, things go to shit and then your glasses fall and break and it's barely 9am. My friend had a day like that. But then the day turned beautiful and sunny then she got to have lunch with me so it wasn't so bad after all.

February 24, 2012 - Friday

Got my hair cut today. With my hair being wet and all the daylight shining in the windows, you can't even see how much grey is in there. It looks so black it's almost blue. My mom tells me I will most likely never lose my hair, so I have this to look forward to for the rest of my life.

February 25, 2012 - Saturday

I made my Tomatoes with Mascarpone Pesto Sauce. This is so good it's crazy. It has such a great sweet tomato flavor and only takes about 15 minutes to make.

February 27, 2012 - Monday

Stopped at the grocery store on the way home from picking up Riley from school. Guess who was outside the store. I love the shortbread cookies dunked in milk. Mmmmmm.

February 28, 2012 - Tuesday

While I was at the grocery store yesterday I picked up some grapes and bananas to have for breakfast. All the bananas were really green. I don't care for green bananas at all, but they do remind me of a friend that lives far away. The first one was still hard to peel it was that green. Eww.

While waiting out front of the school for Riley I took this. I guess I've taken a few out front of the school already, but it was such a great sunny day.
