February 27, 2015 - Friday

It started snowing today around 10:30. I went out and took a few photos. I should have waited and taken this before I left at 1, there was so much more snow then. We closed early and we all went home for the day. Fortunately this happened on a day when we weren't too crazy busy. My afternoon turned out pretty nice.

February 26, 2015 - Thursday

I got my computer up and running late yesterday. I made sure all my stuff transferred from my old laptop backup. I came home and wiped my old computer so I can give it to Riley. I got her an Apple TV to go with it. I think she's as excited as I am.

February 25, 2015 - Wednesday

Look what arrived today!!! Apparently the email I got yesterday was not entirely accurate. I am so thankful for those extra couple of inches. (That's what she said.) I upgrade to a 15" Macbook Pro and it is so much faster than my previous, 13" Macbook.

February 24, 2015 - Tuesday

I ordered a new laptop from the Apple Store the other day. I got this today. :-(  And I'm still out of firewood.

February 23, 2015 - Monday

Thunder-sleet in North Texas!!! Which means the area has shut down. I had to go to the office for just a bit mid-morning and have never seen so few cars on 635 in my life.  By noon I was back on my couch with a nice fire going in my fireplace. Sadly, around 9:30 I ran out of firewood.

February 22, 2015 - Sunday

Today is a good day to stay in and cook. I made a roast the other night for dinner and used the leftovers in a frittata for lunch. It turned out so good. I have a pot of stew on the stove too. It should help with the cold winter weather we supposed to have tomorrow.

February 21 2015 - Saturday

So the other night I was craving dessert and the craving didn't go away. I picked up a cake while I was out earlier today. It wasn't great, but it was good. Especially with a cold glass of milk.

February 20 2015 - Friday

I guess today was a day for deliveries. Tiff Treats were delivered a little before lunch and then we had some really good pizza delivered from Campisis. Not too shabby.

February 19 2015 - Thursday

I ran a couple of errands after work today. On my way home I noticed the faint sliver of the moon coming up over the horizon.

February 18 2015 - Wednesday

I went out to dinner with a couple of friends. We talked about a lot of stuff but dessert was a big part of it. The place we were having dinner didn't have what I wanted. I was craving cake or cheesecake. There were no good places on the way home either. I stopped for gas on the way home and got these. Good enough.... for now.

February 17, 2015 - Tuesday

I don't like food that comes in a box, except for pasta and crackers. I don't like frozen food either. To me there's something weird about food that stays "good" that long. However, these are frozen and they come in a box and when I don't feel like cooking or eating leftovers they put a smile on my face.

February 16, 2015 - Monday

It's 34° outside and it's been cold all day. The firewood I got yesterday is going to come in handy. I came home, made dinner and cleaned the kitchen. I'm watching Anatomy of a Murder, a James Stewart movie. It's nice and warm here in the living room. I just may sleep on the couch.

February 15, 2015 - Sunday

I went out to visit my parents this morning. Their chickens have been really busy. I picked up a bunch of firewood while I was out there too. It's supposed to be really cold the next couple of days.

February 14, 2015 - Saturday

Happy Valentine's Day. I spent the evening with some new friends and their kids. I thought it was a little unusual since in was Valentines, but it was so much fun. They were all so fun and inappropriate. I made guacamole, there was other good food and lots of drinks. My kind of people.

February 13, 2015 - Friday

I finally have a coworker that drinks and it's been a crazy week. Around 4:30 she asked, "Bo, where's my drink?" I've given up fast food and sodas again so it was a Jack on ice with a splash of water. It was a great way to end the work week and start the evening.

February 12, 2015 - Thursday

I spent the evening looking for a new messenger bag that's big enough to carry all my stuff. Most of them are really just a big, dark, nylon mess of pockets and mesh. If any of you have a recommendation message me. Thanks.

February 11, 2015 - Wednesday

So instead of going out to dinner with a friend I worked a bit late getting a bunch of stuff done. I'm so committed. That's why I get the big bucks.... or at least a big beer or two. I think I just figured out why my boss keeps beer in the fridge. And he doesn't even drink.

February 10, 2015 - Tuesday

One of our clients needs a bunch of files copied onto a bunch of flash drives and put on a bunch of these little key rings. Thankfully we have an extra computer with four USB slots that no one is using right now.

February 9, 2015 - Monday

I stayed home from word today. Still having some trouble getting around. Fortunately around 8pm most of the swelling had gone down in my ankle and my hands were beginning to work closer to normally. Looks like I could use a bit of lotion though.

February 8, 2015 - Sunday

I'm having a pretty significant flare up. It started Friday and has gotten worse all weekend. I spent most of yesterday and today like this. I can't walk anywhere in this house without finding a little bit of Grace's hair. I watched some Game of Thrones while waiting for the new Walking Dead to come on.

February 7, 2015 - Saturday

I got this in the mail today. I think I may have won a car or a bunch of money. I get these from time to time with a "key" stuck to them but this is the first night light.

February 6, 2015 - Friday - No Photo

Again, already??? I haven't been sleeping well again lately. Long, detailed, intricate dreams that seem to keep me busy all night. I wake up and feel like I was busy all night long. I got home from work and watched TV for a while and was asleep early. Taking a photo never crossed my mind.

It was really cold today. I met a couple of friends for dinner and had a fun time, but I was thinking about this, my couch and my blanket on my couch most of the evening.

February 4, 2015 - Wednesday

I had dinner with a friend last night. We talked about fun times we had in high school and at different jobs over the year. Tonight I had dinner with another friend who was a big part of the fun I had at one of my jobs. I've been really fortunate to have worked with a bunch of really cool people. There has been the occasional bad apple, but that's life.

February 3, 2015 - Tuesday

I saw this growing in my front yard when Grace and I were coming back from our morning walk. It was still intact. Nothing had touched it except the sun. I took this picture and then pulled it out of the ground. I guess I need a little more weed and feed this Spring.

My brother really puts the "Super" in Super Bowl Sunday. I still feel bad for all of you that don't get to eat these every once in a while. It's an hour drive there and an hour back, but it's very well worth it.
