I made a frittata for the girls. I wish I had remembered to buy a jar of seasoning when I was at Ziziki's the other day. That stuff is good on everything. This turned out really good anyway.

June 27, 2015 - Saturday

Yesterday before the girls went out I made this salad with fruit and mixed greens. Riley doesn't like mixed greens so I made a big salad with romaine lettuce too. Ugh. It's not even remotely as tasty. I tried to explain to her that you need the bitter greens to balance out the sweet of the fruit.

June 25, 2015 - Friday

Riley and Alexe were going out with friends tonight. They both got really dressed up and looked so pretty. Alexe has this tattoo on her back. I can only imagine this probably took a while to get done.

June 24, 2015 - Thursday

The one of the girls in the office went to get snacks for the office. She got some Cheddar Bunnies and these which are like Teddy Grahams. Why are snacks shaped like little animals with nice names like teddy or bunny. Although I remember liking animal crackers when I was growing up.

June 23, 2015 - Wednesday

I'm supposed to go to a friend's house this weekend to help do a home improvement project. This is my friend that makes pies. She doesn't just make pies casually, she seriously, really makes pies. She mentioned something about a fresh cherry pie she was going to make this weekend so I offered to get some cherries. Apparently you need special cherries for pies.

June 23, 2015 - Tuesday

Riley started looking for a summer job yesterday and tonight we went out to celebrate her finding one. Rane, my 2nd Daughter and her mom joined us for dinner too. I haven't seen Rane since my visit back in November. It was good to sit with all the girls at one table again.

June 22, 2015 - Monday

After work the girls and I went to see Jurassic World. We didn't have time for dinner before the movie and none of us were really hungry. But when I told them I would get us Wing Stop after, their eyes lit up. I'm guessing they don't have good wings in Canada either.

June 21, 2015 - Sunday

What a great Father's Day!!! Riley, Alexe and I had reservations for brunch at Ziziki's. I had mimosas while we waited for the rain to die down so Riley drove us out to see my dad. We spent the afternoon with the family. My brother made his BBQ ribs. Two really great meals in one day. I'm glad Riley got into town early and was able to spend it here with me.

June 20, 2015 - Saturday

I went to help a friend paint her patio furniture. She has a nice table and chairs but they were looking quite weathered. I was so surprise how they look practically brand new with just a fresh coat of paint. Speaking of fresh, she really knows how to motivate me. She made an awesome brunch for us.

June 19, 2015 - Friday

I got out of work at noon today to spend the afternoon with the girls. We drove out to see my parents and surprise them too. They didn't know Riley was in town yet. I picked up some fresh eggs while we were out in the country.

June 18, 2015 - Thursday

Riley told me she and Alexe were going to be getting into town tonight. She showed up this morning at 5:30. We went out for breakfast then I got ready for work. I was tired all day but it was such a great surprise. She even brought me some ribs from Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa. I made Banana Pudding for them.

I was walking Grace today after work. It was a very Blustery Day.  That was for all you Winne-the-Pooh fans.

June 16, 2015 - Tuesday

Women's World Cup is going on. I'm a fan and I thought this was a goal too. But I guess it wasn't. The US team won anyway.

June 15, 2015 - Monday

I took Grace for a walk tonight. I could hear the rumbling in the distance and the occasional flash of lightning in the clouds. I got home and grabbed my camera. It didn't take long to catch this one.

Did I mention the party yesterday was for a two year old? We all got to get tattoos too.

June 13, 2015 - Saturday

I went to a friend's house for a b-day party. For some reason I had it in my head that it started at 2. It was 4. I might start showing up early more often. I got mimosas while we waited for the party to start. I wasn't feeling too well when the day started but I was  so glad I went. They are a bunch of really fun people to hang out with.

I was out taking Grace for a long walk after work. There a construction site across the street that has a lot of weeds growing around the fences. There were a bunch of these dandelion things that were about the size of baseballs. I didn't have my camera  so I brought one home.

June 11, 2015 - Thursday

A very dear friend took me out for dinner for my b-day. We go to a lot of the same places a lot, but for my birthday she found us a new spot. Normally I like my meat and potatoes on a plate but they could put this in any serving dish and I'd eat it. It was so good. Today was a really great b-day.

There is a long line of drugs that I take on Wednesdays.

June 9, 2015 - Tuesday

I went to see my rheumatologist today and the one short time it rains it happens while my car is out in the parking lot. It did make for an interesting photo, but now my car has a bunch of spots on it.

Tonight after work I really started unpacking like I meant it. When I finally made it to the couch, this helped me unwind.

These are supposed to be really healthy. So I had more than one. My friend makes up some of the best desserts. I just don't understand how she's so thin and I'm not. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yesterday's photo might have something to do with it. Or Wednesday's.

June 6, 2015 - Saturday

One of my nieces called me this morning to see if I was busy. She was in town hanging out with friends last night. We went out for lunch. I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, and I'll say it again, I really like hanging with my nieces and nephews one on one.

The caterers showed up early to set up for our party. I checked out the bar to make sure it was working properly. Check!

June 4, 2015 - Thursday

Our little agency is having our 5 year party tomorrow. We were making room in the fridge for all the stuff coming tomorrow. These have been in the fridge for a little while. I was tasked with QCing them. I'm not a fan of Miller Lite, but I guess it was okay. It tasted kinda like a beer.

June 3, 2015 - Wednesday

I went out to run some errands at lunch. I was talking to Riley earlier and she was craving a chocolate shake from Whataburger. I'm sure she wanted a burger too. Anyway, it made me think of the an Oreo cookie shake and that thought wouldn't leave my mind.

June 2, 2015 - Tuesday

This is the light at the corner of our office, I can see it from my desk. I know this isn't a great photo or even an interesting photo, but when I catch this green light my commute is cut in half.

June 1, 2015 - Monday

I worked kinda late today. I need to unpack but I don't think I would have even if I was home. I'm still aching from this weekend. I took a break from work and went to Chipotle for dinner. I passed my place on my way back to the office. It's going to be nice having one of these near my new home.
