I was walking out of the office today to get lunch and saw this sitting in the sun. I thought the bright colors should be photographed.

September 28, 2015 - Monday

A friend texted tonight and told me to go outside and look at the moon. She said it was really big and golden. By the time it rose high enough for me to see it where I live it was smaller but almost more interesting than last night.

September 27, 2015 - Sunday

I forgot about the eclipse until a friend texted me. I went and got a few photos of it before and after. This was just before it almost completely disappeared in a faint red glow.

September 26, 2015 - Saturday

Riley and I got to see my niece play volleyball today. She's pretty awesome. I took my camera but didn't get any good photos. It was nice to come home and relax on the couch. Pancake is so affectionate. She's such a Sweetheart.

September 25, 2015 - Friday

Riley and I went out to see the newest addition to the family. My niece had a baby on the 19th. We got to see her for the first time. Boy does she have some big cheeks. This was taken with my new iPhone. The Live Photo of her squirming when I took this is pretty cool.

September 24, 2015 - Thursday

I met a friend at Northpark to get some errands done. After work we ended up eating there too. The weather is finally beginning to be comfortable enough to sit outside again. This might be the last photo I take with my iPhone.

September 23, 2015 - Wednesday

Had to have some snacks on the trip and had some leftover. These Oreo Thins at first seemed blasphemous. I mean to change the original icon seems wrong. These are mint flavored so they're are like a mix of Oreos and Girl Scout's Thin Mints. I may have a new favorite.

September 22, 2015 - Tuesday

The cabin had a wrap around porch that was nice. A lot of this porch had some wrap around spider webs too. Some of the spiders, like this one, were more talented than others. There were some, based on their web skills, that were clearly abusing drugs.

September 21, 2015 - Monday

Spent part of the day hiking around the lake and part of the day sitting out behind the cabin. It was really fortunate that the cabin was surrounded by a creek bed so there were all kinds of visitors from every direction. Woke up to a doe and her fawn this morning and lots of birds, butterflies and more deer later in the day. Lots of daddy long legs too.

September 20, 2015 - Sunday

Taking a quick getaway to the woods in Broken Bow. Got here in the early afternoon and went for a bit of a hike. It was a little chilly and rainy so sitting in front of a fire while soaking in a steamy hot tub was a great way to end the day. Having a drink by my side didn't hurt either.

September 19, 2015 - Saturday

I spent the evening getting ready for my trip, doing laundry, cleaning and packing. Then I spent the rest of the night relaxing on the couch with these two. This is one of the rare occasions when Biscuit is actually letting Pancake be nearer to me without acting like a nuisance.

September 18, 2015 - Friday

I ordered mine today. Looking forward to the new camera more than anything else. I'm interested to see how useful the 3D touch is. And to be honest, the Live Photo thing seems very Harry Potter-ish and pretty cool. And don't forget the better selfie camera.

I know you probably thinking, "those are just green beans." Au contraire, my friend. These are no regular green beans. These are magical Green Beans from Zorba's, and yes, I meant to use caps.

I got the closest parking spot in the parking garage when I came back from lunch today. When I opened my car door this was on the carpet next to me.

September 15, 2015 - Tuesday

Riley is back! She actually landed Sunday. We decided to go over to the old neighborhood and visit BoBo China. We got two of our old favorites, Orange Chicken and Crab Rangoons. It was so good, just like old times.

September 14, 2015 - Monday

This guy spent the morning on the sidewalk outside the office. Some of us in the office decided to rescue him. He didn't make it easy. I had to crawl into the the middle of the shrubs to catch him. We got good news, once his tail feathers grow back he's expected to make a full recovery.

September 13, 2015 - Sunday

I think I mentioned before that the new puppies don't know what it means to sleep in on the weekends. While trying to fall back to sleep I looked over and saw this.

September 12, 2015 - Saturday

I went back out to my friend's house to do some more work. It's been a long project we're doing, but we're almost done. Maybe it would be done already if they didn't feed me so well. We had steaks that were so incredibly tender. By far the best steak I've ever had. Then we had homemade chocolate cake with homemade frosting. This rivals Linda's Fudge Cake.

September 11, 2015 - Friday

Our monthly client breakfast kicked it up a bit this time. We did a pancake bar with all sorts of toppings and stuff. I had bananas and chocolate chips on mine. AND WE HAD BACON!!!! If only we had some champaign to go with the orange juice.

September 10, 2015 - Thursday

I went to a friend's house to fix her garage door. Theoretically, it should have been an easy fix, but I really could have used an extra set of hands. I ended up having to remove the door completely and then put it all back together. She provided a great dinner and wine, but if I weren't driving home I would have drank straight from the bottle.

September 9, 2015 - Wednesday

Yes, another picture of the dogs. I have never let my dogs sleep with me, but they've never been this small either. My thinking was that they wouldn't poop or pee where they sleep so this way they wouldn't have an accident during the night. They started out sleeping at the foot of the bed. I guessing they're more comfortable with me now.

September 8, 2015 - Tuesday

Tonight I came home and gave the little girls a bath. It's amazing how much less shampoo it takes for these girls compared to Grace. They like baths as much as Grace too. I guess I should say as little as Grace. I don't know exactly why but there's something in this little one's eyes that reminds me of Vegas. I still think of my old dogs from time to time and I miss them.

September 7, 2015 - Monday

I was taking the girls for a walk tonight and decided to show y'all what this looks like at night. It was my photo of the day before I went on my trip last weekend. I think it looks cool. I don't know why they have it completely lit up all night but they do.

September 6, 2015 - Sunday

I wasn't feeling too well this weekend so I spent quite a bit of time on the couch. Pancake stole Biscuit's spot. Biscuit wasn't too happy about so she came and tried to lay on my chest. She gets so jealous when I show Pancake or Grace any attention. She can get between Pancake and I but she has no idea what to do about Grace.

September 5, 2015 - Saturday

These new little ones don't know how to sleep in on the weekend. This is Biscuit, she's has no issues climbing all over me like she's known me forever. We need to work on her manners. I've never had any dogs that seem to actually watch TV. I was watching The Dog Whisperer the other day and they get visibly upset when they see dogs acting up on TV.

September 4, 2015 - Friday

For a while now we've been doing Friday breakfast just for the office. We all take turns bringing in breakfast for the office. There's only a few of us so it's not a big deal, but talk about looking forward to Fridays. Our boss had a habit of bringing in sweets, sometimes with chocolate milk.

September 3, 2015 - Thursday

When Riley gave me the dogs she warned me Biscuit liked to chew up paper. I realized she was telling the truth when I came home the other day and the junk mail on the coffee table was chewed up. When I got out of the shower this morning this and a bunch of little remnants were on my bed. Not exactly sure where she found this.

September 2, 2015 - Wednesday

Today we went out to lunch for two birthdays at work. We went to a burger place somewhere on Forest. I don't remember the name of it, but they had this great lamb burger and sweet potato fries. It was nice to get out of the office today. I had a lot of work and it was good to take a break.

September 1, 2015 - Tuesday

Pancake is the more skittish of the two. She get's so excited and wants to be affectionate but then she is so hesitant to trust. Tonight I finally got her to relax enough and sit in my lap. She actually fell asleep for a long while. She's going to take a lot of patience to get her to come out of her shell.
