April 29, 2016 - Friday - The skies looked crazy this evening. It was all yellowy and weird when I walked out my door. I was picking up dinner and this is what it looked like just a few minutes later. I think it just rained during the night.

April 28, 2016 - Thursday - Sometimes I don't feel like cooking and I don't feel like getting out either.

April 27, 2016 - Wednesday - This morning a guy was weed-eating just outside our office. I guess he caught a rock just right and then this happened. The glass held for about an hour just crackling, then a little bit feel and then a little bit more. The whole thing came crashing down when a firetruck drove past. Wish we could have windows that we could open on nice days.

April 26, 2016 - Tuesday - I met a friend for dinner in spite of the impending Monsoon/Hurricane that was predicted. We tried a different kind of pizza this time. It was nice and tangy, but nothing like the Tomato Pie we've had before. We were so good, we didn't even have dessert this time. Got home without even getting a sprinkle on my car.

April 25, 2016 - Monday - After a really long, but productive, day at work I went home and vegged on the couch watching cooking shows until I got really hungry and all I wanted was a Philly Cheese Steak. I didn't get one. I was reading in bed and realized I didn't take a picture again. I took this to avoid missing another day.

April 24, 2016 - Sunday - I met a friend for lunch today at a little Mexican place. These are brisket enchiladas. They're filled with mashed potatoes which I thought was weird at first, but these are amazing. The green sauce on the bottom has some kind of magic in it. It's all an odd combination that somehow really works well together.

April 23, 2016 - Saturday - I met a friend for lunch and then another friend for dinner. Fortunately both of them were in the same area so I wasn't driving back and forth across the metroplex. I took the express lane home to avoid the intoxicated people up there. It was nice and empty down here. I had all three lanes to myself.

April 22, 2016 - Friday - This idea has been floating around in my head for a while. I have a few ideas for it and some friends I've talked to have helped contribute some thoughts too. I'm probably going to start a Facebook page too because doing this page is not enough to keep me busy.

April 21, 2016 - Thursday - We had our monthly dinner at the Italian place we always go to. I'm beginning to think we should do them more often. It's one night I can count on laughing so hard it hurts.

April 20, 2016 - Wednesday - I've started watching the Soprano's again from the beginning. Pancake is watching with me.

April 19, 2016 - Tuesday - I came home after work and realized I needed to take a photo. I left my camera in the car and was being lazy. By the end of the evening I had forgotten about it. I didn't realize until I had already got in bed and comfy under the covers that I still did not have a photo for today.

April 18, 2016 - Monday - I've been thinking of shaving my face for a few day, but then one of our clients came in with this. We did the packaging for him a long while back. He was recently accepted on Amazon and is getting great reviews. It has a nice mild scent. I just may keep my furry face for a while longer.

April 17, 2016 - Sunday - Riley and I were out visiting my parents again. We were leaving and came across a little bit of a traffic a jam on one of the back roads. I don't know what they were eating but there were a few more of them that went off to the other side of the road. I heard they vomit up their meal if you scare them off their food.

April 16, 2016 - Saturday - Riley and I went to visit my parents. We also picked up some ribs and got my bother to cook them for us. I was helping him stack his hickory when I came across this. He said he found it in the yard and now it's his BBQ mascot.

April 15, 2016 - Friday - Today I fixed drinks for the four of us in the office who drink. One of the girls was having a rough day and us three guys here just enjoy a drink on a Friday afternoon, or any afternoon for that matter. I had a Jack and Coke. We have ice trays that make big ice cubes for whiskey.

April 14, 2016 - Thursday - I met a friend for a drink or two and a snack after work. It was a nice day to sit on a patio for a while and unwind. It's nice to have friends that will make themselves available when you need them.

April 13, 2016 - Wednesday - I went to lunch with a friend from work. This was in the front console. I think this is how he get's around the open container law. He said this was what was left from the White Russian he had on the way to work this morning.

April 12, 2016 - Tuesday - I went to meet my pregnant friend for lunch. She has some serious curves. She's having a little boy and they have no good ideas for a name. I'm trying to talk her into Santiago, but she thinks just because her and her husband are blond and blue eyed it's not a good fit. Their 4 year old son wants to name him Porkchop.

April 11, 2016 - Monday - I went to meet a friend for lunch. The weather cleared up just in time. I got to see pictures of her new puppy and have Ziziki's too. Not a bad way to start the week.

April 10, 2016 - Sunday - A while back I made a big planter for a friend. Today I came over to help her get it ready for planting. It took a couple of trips in my car to get enough rocks and top soil to fill the bottom. It just needs some compost and garden soil now. I don't mind helping 'cause I know I'll be eating really well from what grows there.

April 9, 2016 - Saturday - Riley has decided to stay with friends in Denton for a while and get a job. I went up to visit her for the day. We had a great lunch and then went to visit the store where she's working. Her boss has a service dog named Orzo. He was such a cool, handsome dog with beautiful eyes.

April 8, 2016 - Friday - I debated even counting this photo, it's so bad and out of focus. My eyes were bothering so badly this day. I have no idea why they were feeling so dry and itchy. I took this at a friend's house out front and it was the only photo I took this day. I never checked to see if it was okay.

April 7, 2016 - Thursday - I came home and had a big glass of tea.

April 6, 2016 - Wednesday - Stopped in a coffee shop at lunch with a friend. Do any of you remember the show Space Ghost Coast to Coast? I have a bunch music from Brak and Space Ghost, like the Mooka Looka Song and Don't Touch Me, but my favorite is the Tales of Suspense.

April 5, 2016 - Tuesday - Pancake has been wanting to see the new Star Wars since it came out. She really liked BB-8.

April 4, 2016 - Monday - Went and did some shopping at Sam's and Target after work. I was originally just going for dog food, but I saw the strawberries and got the idea to make the salad with grapes and strawberries. Forgot to get some Frosted Flakes.

April 3, 2016 - Sunday - I met a friend for a late lunch in Grapevine. After lunch and dessert we went for a walk up Main Street. On the was back we passed a place with little ponies giving kids rides. I was able to get next to the trailer to take this one. They all looked kinda sad, but who knows maybe they were just tired at the end of the day.

April 2, 2016 - Saturday - Last night Riley and I drove out to spend part of the weekend with my parents. They were so happy to see her again. My nephew's birthday is tomorrow and his wife did a gender reveal/birthday party for him. The best part is that the reveal was for him too. He didn't what he was having. I don't know how she could keep that a secret for so long.

April 1, 2016 - Friday - The two girls were out of the office today so my boss walked in and suggested we try to wrap up things early and get go to Top Golf. He was hitting the ball really well last time, maybe he's hooked. So since we had no adult supervision we left early. While the girls are away the guys will play golf.
