February 28, 2016 - Sunday - I drove out to my parents' house to visit and do some work. My dad and I went and did some lumber shopping and did a little bit of work. The sun came out for a bit just as I drove up. This is growing in my mom's yard. Got to visit with lots of family today. It's been a busy weekend. Wish I had some time off this week.

February 27, 2016 - Saturday - I spent most of the day with a friend. We went out for a late lunch and then to In Sync Big Cat Sanctuary. I didn't take my camera this time. I just wanted to relax and wander around this time. I did take a picture of this big cat that was parked out front. It was a year ago today that I found her. We got some frozen yogurt after.

February 26, 2016 - Friday - It was another busy day at work but I made time to get out for lunch with a friend and one of her kids. I had to watch over this guy while they went to the bathroom. We went to a diner and I had breakfast for lunch. It was a good day today.

February 25, 2016 - Thursday - Today was a long day at work. We finally have some projects behind us but still have a lot to do. I was sitting on my couch when a friend texted me to meet him for a drink. What a great idea!! I ordered us a couple of boilermakers. You can't see it but there's an empty shot glass at the bottom of that beer mug.

February 24, 2016 - Wednesday - I am so thankful for my friend who texted me late this evening after I went to bed. I had forgotten to take a photo today and after she sent me a goofy picture I took this one of Biscuit and sent it to her. I've made it through almost two months without missing a day.

February 23, 2016 - Tuesday - It was so hard to get out of bed this morning with the rain and the dark grey skies. The day at work was busy, but productive. I guess it was a good thing I went. This was as I was leaving, sitting at the light in a light drizzle.

February 22, 2016 - Monday - The other day I washed both of Grace's bed covers and blankets. When I took all the stuff out of the washer there were a few of these little bundles at the bottom of the washer. Thought it was kinda funny that the hair collected and knotted into these little balls of fur.

February 21, 2016 - Sunday - I woke up feeling a lot better today but still not great. This flare up really screwed up all my weekend plans. I had stuff to do, people to see and food to eat. At least I got Biscuit to help keep me warm. She's such a sweet, snuggling pain in my butt.

February 20, 2016 - Saturday - I didn't sleep well at all or much at all either. If I was dog I'd put me down, but since my vet's office is closed on the weekend I just spent the day on the couch. Pancake and Biscuit kept me company. She was nice and let me give her a mohawk and take her picture.

February 19, 2016 - Friday - I woke up with the mother of all flare ups. I went in to work for a while but left at lunch. It was a bit unbearable. I spent the rest of the day on my new comfy couch. The three of us, Biscuit, Pancake and I, watched The Dog Whisper. Grace doesn't need to watch the show, she's a perfect angel.

February 18, 2016 - Thursday - Went to dinner with a friend. The sangrias at this place were amazing. The salad and pizza were really good too. When we got to dessert she said get whatever you want, until I ordered it and than I was informed that I apparently didn't know exactly what it was that I wanted or exactly how to order whatever I want.  It was delicious also.

February 17, 2016 - Wednesday - A few of us from the office went out to lunch at a place called Taco Joint. The line of sparkley vinyl seats looked nice but blue looked the best in the sunlight. The big breakfast burrito was so good but I was really needing a nap later in the afternoon.

February 16, 2016 - Tuesday - For Christmas a friend gave me a bunch of chocolate stuff. The bottom is chocolate granola and on top is some kind of chocolate liquor sauce. It's perfect for a sundae. By the time you get to the end of it, it looks like a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles. This is the last of it and I'm sad.

February 15, 2016 - Monday - There was a beautiful sunset this evening but from where I parked there wasn't a very good view of it. The blues and pinks were all across the sky and just as I was thinking it was unfortunate I didn't have a clear view I looked across the hood of my car.

February 14, 2016 - Sunday - Today was a good day to make Mimosas.

February 13, 2016 - Saturday - I got up really early to go help a friend with a garage sale. Did I mention it was REALLY EARLY? I turned a corner and got this view of downtown. I pulled over really quick since there were no other cars on the road and took this photo.

February 12, 2016 - Friday - I left work today to meet a friend to go run some errands and have dinner. It's been a really long week so sitting in traffic sounded like a really bad idea. I took the express lane for the first time. Look how empty it is down here. Empty enough for me to take a few photos without worrying about other cars. I don't think I'll ever not take the express lane.

February 11, 2016 - Thursday - For two years in a row February has been a really busy month. This week in particular has been really busy with lots of overlapping deadlines. I got out on time today to meet a friend for dinner and drinks. A nice old fashioned happy hour.

February 10, 2016 - Wednesday - I don't work late very often, but when I do I never work alone.

February 9, 2016 - Tuesday - We all were pretty busy today at the office. One of the girls was coming back from a shoot and picked up lunch for the rest of us. I love a Caprese salad. This was my lunch today and it was so colorful and so delicious.

February 8, 2016 - Monday - This is the plant in our entry area. I've take a photo of this before, but I'm not sure if it's the same plant that's changed colors in the winter or if this is a different version of the same kind of plant.

February 7, 2016 - Sunday - Super Bowl Sunday. I took this at the beginning of the game. I like Cam and the Panthers, but I really wanted this guy to get one more. He's been so much fun to watch work his offence both in Indianapolis and Denver. By the end of the day he had his trophy in hand.

February 6, 2016 - Saturday - My couch was delivered on Tuesday and I've been gone every night since so I've had almost no time on my new big comfy couch. The other day while shopping with a friend I came across this. To make up for lost time I spent pretty much the whole day on my new couch covered with my new throw. Money well spent!!!

February 5, 2016 - Friday - The other day when I was visiting my sister and brother-in-law we talked about their dog passing and they gave me a big bag of treats. After meeting a friend for dinner I came home and gave the puppies a treat before dinner.

February 4, 2016 - Thursday - It was cold and a little windy today, but I went out for lunch anyway. I ate on the roof in the warm sun. It was nice to get away from my desk for a little while.

February 3, 2016 - Wednesday - I went to meet a friend to help pick out a couch and get dinner. I was stuck in traffic for a while. I like the transition in the orange to blue of the setting sun.

February 2, 2016 - Tuesday - I went over to my sister's house before meeting a bunch of family for my great niece's birthday. My sister and brother-in-law lost their dog of 10 years not too long ago. We talked about that and what kind of dog they're getting next. Right now they just have these birds.

February 1, 2016 - Monday - The girl at work is at it again. She made a bunch of cookies for Valentine's Day. There were lots more but I figured I should probably eat the ones I touch so I only took two. They're delicious.
