March 30, 2016 - Wednesday - Our last morning here and a few friends came by to say goodbye while we were having breakfast on the patio. The overcast weather made it a little easier to leave this place, but I am going to miss the hot tub terribly. It really helped with my arthritis. Could not have asked for a more relaxing mini vacation.

March 29, 2016 - Tuesday - We went for another walk today and came across this little stream. The sound it makes is so nice and easy to appreciate considering how quiet it is here. We lingered in this area for a long while. I loved the way this looked like a mosaic filter from Photoshop.

March 28, 2016 - Monday - What a great day. One of the most important things in selecting a traveling partner is a common activity level. I don't want to do nothing the whole time, but I don't want to have every minute scheduled either. This evening we spent some time around the firepit and in the hot tub, again. The stars out here are amazing.

March 27, 2016 - Sunday - A friend and I came out to Broken Bow to get away for a little while. We got here around 5p. We made a simple dinner and then spent the early part of the evening on the patio. There's a table and chairs, a fireplace and a hot tub out there. Not a bad way to spend the evening. This guy came to sit in my lap once we came in for the night.

March 26, 2016 - Saturday - I went to meet a friend for a while this morning. We ran a couple of errands, there are a few things I need to pick up for my trip tomorrow. We stopped for lunch and I had a really good salad. I should probably start eating more of those. She has these little flowers growing in her front yard.

March 25, 2016 - Friday - I had the day off so I met a friend for a movie and dinner. Oh and dessert too. Unfortunately, I haven't seen this friend in a really long time so it was nice to have so much time to get caught up after the movie. We stayed out later than either of us had planned but there was lots to talk about and cake to eat.

March 24, 2016 - Thursday - My girl has been back in town for about 30 hours and she's already driving me to drink. hahahahaha We went out to dinner and then came home to relax on the couch. Putting a little bit of Jack Daniel's Honey in a glass will help with that.

March 23, 2016 - Wednesday - My baby girl flew back into town today. She couldn't decide on what to do for her first meal back in the states. After several suggestions she finally decided on Yucatan Taco Stand. It was as good as always and even better now that she's home at least for a while.

March 22, 2016 - Tuesday - I met a friend for dinner tonight. This our third time coming to this place and we've had the same thing every time. We did get a different dessert this time. This pizza doesn't have any sauce, just really thinly sliced tomatoes that cook down so good. We split a salad too. Maybe next time I'll take a photo of the salad.

March 21, 2016 - Monday - After work I come home and take the puppies for a quick walk to a little grassy area so they can potty. Pancake goes bonkers when she sees a squirrel up close. This one ran across the grass and up on the fence for a little while just to mock her I think. Then she went up into this tree. I was able to take this in spite of Pancake.

March 20, 2016 - Sunday - I picked up dinner for me and a friend. Mmmmmm... Tortellini Bolognese. I love the way the sun comes through her house at this time of the year. I wish my place had more natural light like this.

March 19, 2016 - Saturday - I spent the afternoon and evening with a friend. We did some shopping and then went out for dinner. Her roses are starting to bloom already. This is at the top of an 6 foot tall bush. It was reaching up just enough to catch the sunlight as it blew in the breeze.

March 18, 2016 - Friday - I know this almost looks exactly like my photo from one of our last client breakfasts but bacon and banana chocolate chip pancakes on the griddle is hard to pass up and seeing how I have planned to do nothing this evening this is probably going to be the highlight of my day.

March 17, 2016 - Thursday - I meet the same couple of friends for dinner about once a month. Lately we've been going to the same place for dinner. It's a great Italian place that unfortunately is not open for lunch. I usually get one of the specials but tonight I had the Primavera something or other. This has a delicious garlic, butter and olive oil sauce. It's always a good time.

March 16, 2016 - Wednesday - Today at lunch I ran a couple of errands and picked up stuff to make guacamole and some Pacifico for the office. Around 4 week all took a little break and by 5 we were all packing up to leave. Not a bad way to end the day.

March 15, 2016 - Tuesday - I was bewaring the Ides of March today and stayed home from work. It's important when playing hooky from work that you pick a beautiful sunny day to get out and enjoy. I ran some errands, got my car washed and met a friend for dinner. This is her dog that burrows into his pile of blankets to sleep. I totally get that.

March 14, 2016 - Monday - Happy Pi Day!!! This is a Mixed Berry Pie and it was soo good.

March 13, 2016 - Sunday - Growing up, when my dad was using a tool in a manner it was not designed for, he would always tell me, "I better never see you doing this." This bit was too long for our drill press and the material we were using. We had to shorten it somehow. The belt sander was just laying there.

March 12, 2016 - Saturday - I drove out to my parents' last night to spend the weekend with them and build some furniture. We took a break in the middle of the afternoon to go to a little family get together at my cousins house. She has a bunch of these growing in her front yard.

March 11, 2016 - Friday - I know I just posted of photo of Pancake watching TV the other day, but today was pretty uneventful. I think I'm going to start a new collection of Pancake watching the top 100 movies of all time. This is Dances with Wolves.

March 10, 2016 - Thursday - We all left the office quite a bit early today. Our new team is all about taking advantage of the current lull in work. I took this walking out to my car. A few of us met for a couple of drinks to end the day. Our small agency is starting to feel a lot like a regular advertising agency now.

March 9, 2016 - Wednesday - It was a little cool in the office this morning so I had a warm cup of hot cocoa. I still don't drink coffee. Today's picture was between this and the picture I took of Pancake watching Kung Fu Panda and since she was watching Room two days ago I went with this one.

March 8, 2016 - Tuesday - This morning when I got to work the rain was blowing sideways into the parking garage. I got really wet. By the afternoon it had come to a stop for a while. This is just outside the office. Yesterday these trees were full of little white blossoms. Not so much anymore.

March 7, 2016 - Monday - I've been trying to catch up on some of the nominated movies from this year. Tonight we, Pancake and I, watched Room. It was kinda hard to watch.

March 6, 2016 - Sunday - I spent part of the day with a friend building a box. This is her new planter. It's going to take a whole lot of dirt to fill this thing.  Can't wait to see this later in the Spring with all her herbs and vegetables she's going to have growing here.

March 5, 2016 - Saturday - I spent the day with a friend. Mostly we were in Ft. Worth at the museums but we spent some time downtown too. It was a long, relaxing, fun day. We started the day with renaissance paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries and ended it with a computer animated movie that was just released. A very full spectrum of culture.

March 4, 2016 - Friday - The new guy at work is an good friend of mine. He gave me these as a thank you gift for helping with the job. I had very little to do with it, but I do have a lot to celebrate this month, friend's birthdays, holidays and an upcoming little get away to Broken Bow again.

March 3, 2016 - Thursday - After being so crazy busy for the last couple of months we celebrated the completion of a couple of recent projects with a half day at Top Golf. Relaxing on a sunny afternoon hitting some balls, eating some eats and drinking some drinks. It was a really cool way for our boss to say thanks.

March 2, 2016 - Wednesday - I found these really big apples at Central Market the other day. They're so good. Unfortunately, just as I was about to enjoy them my boss came over and wanted to talk about work, the nerve. And that's why these are a little yellow.

March 1, 2016 - Tuesday - This month didn't get off to the best start. I worked a bit late, and then left, and then got called back and worked a little while longer. Finally got out of here around 8:30, but considering it almost never happens I'm okay with it. I still had a good dinner with a friend.
