December 30, 2018 - Sunday - A couple of years ago a friend gave me a pair of really cozy pajamas. This year she gave me a robe. According to her everyone should have one. I don't know that I've ever owned a robe and I kinda see what she's talking about. This is pretty much like a wearable blanket with pockets. I'm sure I'll love it more when it's colder.

December 29, 2018 - Saturday - This is Willie. The first time I met him he peed on me. He usually barks at me nonstop, but even though I've only seen once in the last several months he didn't bark at all at me today. He even let me pick him up and sat in my lap for a long while. I got some apple pie today too. We were both very happy.

December 28, 2018 - Friday - I went and spent some time running errands with a friend. One of the errands was donating some stuff and the local animal shelter. Couldn't believe the number of full breed animals they had here. This beautiful Husky, a very handsome German Shepard and two Great Pyrenees. There were at least 4 dogs I wish I could have taken.

December 27, 2018 - Thursday - Spent a little time on the couch with the dogs getting caught up on shows and movies over the holiday break. Pancake and I watched The Mountain Between Us. I liked this one, but Pancake really like the part when the dog was chasing the rabbit.

December 26, 2018 - Wednesday - After moving and Christmas shopping and wrapping it seems like I've been doing nonstop for a while. Today I was supposed to go empty out my storage unit but with all the rain that got postponed. It was a good thing since my knee was not at it's best today. Spent some quality time with these two and my couch.

December 25, 2018 - Tuesday - Doing our family's Christmas on Christmas Eve has freed me up the last few years to spend with what has become like a second family to me. Riley and I spent Thanksgiving with them and Christmas day. My friend's mom made a meal that was AMAZING!!! It was one of those that you get sad when you start feeling full.

December 24, 2018 - Monday - Our family Christmas gathering doesn't start until later this evening so after I got all my packages packed into my Santa bag, the dogs and I watched Finding Dory. We may have also had a bit of a nap as well. Have I mentioned how much I love my couch.

December 23, 2018 - Sunday - Riley said Pancake doesn't watch TV anymore, but she has since she's been with me. I was doing the last of the wrapping this evening while Pancake and I watched The Grinch. She doesn't watch as intently as she used to but I think she still likes this movie way better than Elf.

December 22, 2018 - Saturday - I went to a friend's house to play Santa. Well to drop off presents for her and her kids. They are always a fun group to spend time with even on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I took this while driving back home. Traffic was barely moving. I like the single bird in the middle of the sky.

December 21, 2018 - Friday - We had a group lunch today at work. We talked about where we were a year ago and how far things have come in the last 12 months at the office. A few new faces, new partnerships, a new location, quite a bit of new work and including  myself and couple of "old" faces to start the new year. Oh and we got chocolates too.

December 20, 2018 - Thursday - I like to wrap presents but this moving while getting ready for Christmas is a bit of a pain. Tonight I spent more time on the couch wrapping presents and had the dogs to keep me company.

December 19, 2018 - Wednesday - Spent some time on the couch this evening wrapping presents and watching TV. Biscuit and Pancake keep me company when Riley's not home. This is Pancake keeping Biscuits rear end warm.

December 18, 2018 - Tuesday - So when I moved I threw all my shoes in a bag. Monday morning I just dumped out the bag when I was getting ready. I didn't take the time to put them in the closet and organize, I just left them in a pile in the corner. That explains this. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

December 17, 2018 - Monday - Leaving work this evening it amazed me how quickly the colors changed in the sky tonight. I thought to take a photo when I walked out on to the roof, but by in the minute or two it took to put my bag in the car and drive over to the best spot the scene had changed completely. I got this photo instead.

December 16, 2018 - Sunday - Went to meet a friend for a belated birthday lunch and to watch the Cowboy game. Lunch was good the game, not so much. I met Riley at home and we went to do some shopping for our apartment. This is growing just outside our door. Mom liked roses.

December 15, 2018 - Saturday - I am so thank-pho pho my phamily! Today my brother-in-law and nephew helped me move all my big stuff from dad's to my new apartment. I wasn't at my best today so they did a lot of the heavy lifting. I took them to my favorite pho place and had a late lunch.

December 14, 2018 - Friday - I'm beginning to think I'm going to go old school with presents this year. I'm buying mostly for my nieces' and nephews' kids, which are still pretty young and there are so many of them. I wrap really well but very slow. I'm thinking I'll just walk around with my sack full of toys and hand them out to all the good little girls and boys.

December 13, 2018 - Thursday - Tonight our trio was supposed to meet to celebrate our friend's BIG 4-0 and, to a lesser degree, my Small 49 1/2. One of us had to bail last minute and fortunately it wasn't the birthday girl so we still had cake. I think she was a little embarrassed when they brought this out. Nothing Bundt Cake is a favorite of ours.

December 12, 2018 - Wednesday - I was taking some papers out of my bag today at work and decided to clean it out a bit. This little piece of Grace was in there still. I miss that big fluff ball even though she shed like crazy.

December 11, 2018 - Tuesday - Today was dad's birthday. I don't know why but I always think he's in his 60's and not 70's. I got the wrong numbers for his cake too. Maybe it's because he's so immature and in no way acts his age. Got home to do some work after having cake next door and this was on. Yes, I agree, it's a Christmas movie.

December 10, 2018 - Monday - Leaving for work this morning, I stopped by this frost covered field. Driving by it almost glowed in the morning sun and I tried to get a decent photo of it. This is pretty disappointing.

December 9, 2018 - Sunday - Went over to my brother's house to watch the Cowboy game and have some burgers. This is his "Easter Basket" he uses to collect eggs. They're finally starting to produce regular size eggs. They were pretty small for a while.

December 8, 2018 - Saturday - I spent most of the morning on the couch Christmas shopping. That was my plan for the day to get as much done and ordered as possible. My brother-in-law called and needed some tech help so I ended up spending the rest of the day there with him and all his family. Never a boring moment with that family. Love them.

December 7, 2018 - Friday - Driving home in the rain kind of late tonight. I have a half birthday with a friend of mine coming up, but tonight there was a surprise birthday dinner for her. It wasn't until I was about halfway home that I realized I had taken a photo today. Trying to take this between the wiper blades was a bit of a task.

December 6, 2018 - Thursday - I'm not completely moved in yet, but I stopped by the new place to lay on my couch for a little while after work. Man, do I miss this couch. It's gonna be nice having these two around too. They wanted to lay on the couch too.

December 5, 2018 - Wednesday - Tonight was the book release party for the book I've been working on the last couple of months. Granted I was just laying out the book, not writing or illustrating. It was at the Kessler and there was some really great music. It was nice to celebrate this accomplishment. You can get it on Amazon here.

December 4, 2018 - Tuesday - I got home and was talking to dad for a while. He said there was nothing on TV worth watching so we watched the Cowboys beat the Saints again. If I was young guy in high school playing football here I'd be so hyped by these two guys.

December 3, 2018 - Monday - Coming home I saw my brother has started putting out his Christmas lights. I really need to get my Christmas list together and start getting some shopping done.

December 2, 2018 - Sunday - I spent the day with a friend I've not seen in a very long time. We had lunch and then ran a bunch of errands she needed to get done. Part of our time was wandering around looking at Christmas decorations. Not having looked at Christmas stuff in so long it was amazing seeing all the weird stuff they make for the holidays.

December 1, 2018 - Saturday - I spent the first half of the day at a friend's helping her get some stuff done around her house. Literally. We started by first enjoying some coffee and tea in the back. It was a beautiful day to spend outside. Spent the evening at the house grilling in the fire pit. In spite of the work to day was a relaxing day.
