November 29, 2018 - Thursday - Today was a bad day. My wrist has been bothering me pretty significantly. I didn't sleep much at all last night and at 4:30 I got a new video project that's due tomorrow by 2p. Worked a bit late and missed a little bit of the Cowboys/Saints game. WE WON!! I'm shocked like everyone else. Stayed up late to get this done.

November 28, 2018 - Wednesday - Tonight I'm meeting Riley for a celebration dinner. We're celebrating my new job and our getting an apartment together. I need a place a lot closer to the office before I lose my mind in traffic, she wants a place closer to her job and her lease was up. Sometimes all the stars align. I'm very excited to have dogs again.

November 27, 2018 - Tuesday - Called a friend to see if he was available to meet for dinner after work. Fortunately traffic was slow but not too terribly long. It was good spend the evening with him and his daughter, my God Daughter. It's always good to spend time with the both of them.

November 26, 2018 - Monday - Leaving the office as the sun was almost gone, I decided to walk over to the edge of the roof of the parking garage and take a photo. The garage isn't very tall but there's a pretty open view out to the West.

November 25, 2018 - Sunday - Went and hung out with a cousin for a long while today. Had to come home and do some unexpected work on the book I thought we finished last week. Dad and I went over to my brother's for dinner and stayed to watch some football. Rusty thought he'd come and keep my lap warm for a while.

November 24, 2018 - Saturday - This afternoon I spent some time making the fire pit a bit bigger and taller. I think it's just the right size now. This provides a great way to get rid of all the branches that drop from all the oaks around the property. Once the fire got going good dad came out and we spent the evening talking. Today was a good day.

November 23, 2018 - Friday - The last couple of days Dad's been doing a lot of work on his man cave. He was going through a bunch of stuff that was stored near the garage and pulled this out. Unfortunately it got a little bit wet but wasn't in bad shape. This was from our trip to the San Diego Zoo when Riley was about 2 or so.

November 22, 2018 - Thursday - Since our family did Thanksgiving this past Saturday, my brother spent this morning setting up his flagpole and had a little first time flag raising ceremony after breakfast. Riley, the pups and I attended before leaving for Thanksgiving with a friend. Had a great day.

November 21, 2018 - Wednesday - We got out of work early today. I picked up Riley and the pups to get ready for our Friendsgiving tomorrow. Apparently Biscuit and Pancake like Dum-Dums as much as Riley does. We stopped for dinner on the way home and to pick up some groceries. It's nice having these two around again.

November 20, 2018 - Tuesday - This morning was my last time sitting the pups. After work I drove back to the house and stopped by this same tree to take another photo of the setting sun here.

November 19, 2018 - Monday - Today was my official first day of work back at my old job. It's nice to be easing into a full-time job on a short week. After work I went to my friend's to let out the pooches and then went to find something for dinner. These nachos remind me of the Yucatan Taco Stand, not quite as good but still very good.

November 18, 2018 - Sunday - This is Pancho, he's a very old Chihuahua that wears doggie Depends now. He's one of the two dogs I'm sitting for a few days. They're both pretty old but very easy to care for. I took this at the end of the evening. It was nice to see the Cowboys beat the Falcons.

November 17, 2018 - Saturday - With our family getting bigger and bigger we decided to have our big Thanksgiving get together today. It's always a good time but it was disappointing that Riley couldn't make it. I'm dog/house sitting this weekend for a friend. These llamas live with the camels and zebra. Took this when I was heading back to my friend's house.

November 16, 2018 - Friday - I met a friend for lunch. It was such a pretty day out we decided to eat out on the patio. We had pho and spring rolls. This bee came along and took a little taste of this sriracha and then wandered over to the edge of the plate and it looked like he threw up. It was hard to be sure though.

November 15, 2018 - Thursday - These two live down the street from us. So my days out in the country are numbered now. Yesterday my employment status changed from "what are you going to do with your life" to "hey, I'm employed!" Hahaha. I'm not exactly sure how much longer I'll be out here but I'm gonna miss being around my family.

November 14, 2018 - Wednesday - I had the day off and after having lunch with a friend I spent the afternoon with Riley. We were riding around in her car with the puppies and I noticed this in her console. I got it for her in Tahoe in 2005. She's been purging and minimizing all her belongings. She's was such a good kid. She's not too bad as an adult either.

November 13, 2018 - Tuesday - With the weather being so cold and dropping below freezing, I helped my friend bring in her lemon tree. It wasn't until I was carrying it that I noticed the really small fruit growing on it. They look more like limes to me. Isn't it weird how some people think that limes and lemons are completely interchangeable? They are not the same!!!

November 12, 2018 - Monday - This is a bowl full of sadness. Moments ago it was full of happiness. It was a cold and drizzly day today. The perfect weather for a big steamy bowl of pho. Apparently lots of people thought the same thing. This place was packed and the staff was literally running around.

November 11, 2018 - Sunday - Today was such a great day. I got to spend lunch celebrating one of my Goddaughter's birthday with her and lots of her family. Then I went to have brunch with my second daughter and her real dad at Riley's restaurant. When I was leaving Riley gave me this peanut butter whoopie pie. It was really good.

November 10, 2018 - Saturday - Got a very early start to my weekend. I went to meet a friend to see his son in a swim meet. It was fun to see all the other little kids swimming too. Kinda like going to a tee ball game. It was a good relaxing day spent in the bleachers and then on his patio by the chiminea with a couple of cigars and a drink.

November 9, 2018 - Friday - I got out of work quite a bit early today. I got home, did a little bit of work and then went outside and rounded up a bunch of the dead branches from the yard. All the wood was still pretty damp from all the rain but after a while I had a nice fire going. My cousin and his big pit came and kept me company. Didn't know he was a big lap dog.

November 8, 2018 - Thursday - Today was cold and drizzly. It was a good day to go out and get a hot bowl of pho. For me any day is a good day for that. At some point during the day I set my phone down on my pill box with the camera app on and saw this. Maybe now I'll start taking abstract photos. Hahahaha

November 7, 2018 - Wednesday - Met a friend for lunch today. I saw this on the patio as I was walking in. It was really windy so it was a bit of a challenge to get a clear photo of this. I thought I was going to have the rest of the day off but about halfway through lunch I got called back to work.

November 6, 2018 - Tuesday - Waiting for the elevator on the roof of our parking garage I saw this little guy fly up. He seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere.

November 5, 2018 - Monday - Heading up north after work is a bit of a commute now that we're a little farther south. It's amazing what a few miles down 75 can do to the drive. I decided to try an alternate route that seemed a bit quicker but I really dislike taking back roads. There's nothing worse than getting stuck behind a dumb and a dumber.

November 4, 2018 - Sunday - Woke up feeling quite a bit better but still having some issues. I was looking forward to seeing the 8-0 Rams/6-1 Saints game. I'm a big fan of this guy and it was good to see the game live up to the hype and end in a Saint's win. Also caught Pride of the Yankees for the first time. Good movie.

November 3, 2018 - Saturday - Woke up this morning with my right knee not cooperating. It didn't hurt too much but wouldn't bend like a knee is supposed to. It started raining pretty hard later in the evening and we lost our satellite signal so I decided to see what we had on our DVR. I watched the Cowboys/Detroit game for a while.

November 2, 2018 - Friday - We're only a block away from Ozona's patio. A couple of us from the office walked down for lunch and this little guy stopped to join us for a drink. He may have had a little too much because I had to fish him out and set him on the arm of my chair to sober up. He flew off a little wobbly I think.

November 1, 2018 - Thursday - The view out our new location is pretty decent. I guess more so since it's such a nice day out. We're overlooking Greenville now. One of our last memories of our last location was seeing a pedestrian get hit by a car. We saw our share of accidents there, but nothing as disturbing as that.
