March 30, 2019 - Saturday - Tonight Pancake was having an Inception moment. I love the Memories my phone makes from all my photos. Pancake doesn't watch TV like she used to, she's so desensitized, but she seemed interested when Riley or I would be on it and then I just thought this was funny.

March 29, 2019 - Friday - My friend and I went to Ozona's for lunch today. We're breaking the trend of Pho, but it's such a nice day. This guy was lying around outside the patio when we got there. Later we saw him chasing a squirrel across the patio. We weren't the only ones trying to get some lunch.

March 28, 2019 - Thursday - Went to see my friend with the cat again. She has two dogs too but the social one won't sit still hardly at all. This one is very loving and just wants to be petted. She really likes when the dog is outside so she can wander around without being annoyed by him.

March 27, 2019 - Wednesday - I was making myself some avocado toast for dinner when Riley strolled in and showed me how to make a poached egg. She only made me one. I'll be making this again really soon. I stopped at the grocery store again and picked up more avocados, tomatoes and rosemary sourdough bread.

March 26, 2019 - Tuesday - I went to see my friend who recently got a new puppy. This is Phoebe. It's not a good photo because it was kinda dark and she doesn't sit still very much, but it does accurately show how fluffy and soft she it. She has a big, round, puppy belly, still smells like a puppy, has sharp, pointy teeth and has puppy breath. Kinda wanting a puppy now.

March 25, 2019 - Monday - Stopped by the grocery store on the way home from work. It usually doesn't take much to make Riley happy, but I was a little disappointed when I got home and Riley told me she was trying to cut back sodas. Hahaha. I'm sure she'll pick that up again when these are gone.

March 24, 2019 - Sunday - Tonight we had the windows opened a little bit. When Pancake hears something that interests her this is what she does. I think she's eavesdropping on someones conversation outside. She can be a little bit of a Gladys Kravitz. If you know who that is you might be kinda old.

March 23, 2019 - Saturday - Today I went out to visit some family out in the country. I ran some errands with dad and then did some work in the garage with him. After working for a while we went built a fire and hung out until dinner. I was thinking The rain was going to keep us from doing this but fortunately we didn't get much more than a few sprinkles.

March 22, 2019 - Friday - This is my first pho since coming home. I've been pretty busy at work the last couple of days. I tried a pho place in California and it was very disappointing. This is one of my Pho of the Day shots that I only remembered to take when I was almost done.

March 21, 2019 - Thursday - I kinda feel guitly when I take a photo of one of the dogs and not the other so here's Pancake with her favorite toy. When she's excited she'll run around with it and throw up in the air. The look on her face with it goes behind the couch is really funny.

March 20, 2019 - Wednesday - Having to work the day after coming back from vacation is definitely not the best thing. It was worth it though. Spent some quality time with the pooches on the couch this evening. Biscuit looks like I feel.

March 19, 2019 - Tuesday - Today I headed home. It was an early start to a 5 hour drive back to San Francisco, then a quick connection through LA. Didn't make it home until almost 1am. Regardless of how I feel in the morning this trip was so worth it. Riley picked me up and Biscuit and Pancake seemed to miss me.

March 18, 2019 - Monday - Today was a relaxing day. Good thing too, my feet, ankles and knee are still recovering from the long adventure yesterday. There are patches of these lilies growing all over. I've seen them since I started my drive from San Francisco. There's a huge garden of these near where we had lunch today.

March 17, 2019 - Sunday - This is my 3,000th photo in this project! Today we went to the Redwood National Park and hiked around for a few miles. For me that is quite the accomplishment and so worth it. None of my photos do justice to the enormity and grandeur of the trees in this place. Another really great day!

March 16, 2019 - Saturday - My friend had today all planned out. We dropped off her son at work, met a friend for brunch, walked around the farmers market and then had massages. We had to take turns getting our massages so while her friend was getting hers, she showed me another beach. Went to dinner then a Finnish sauna and hot tub place to end the day. So relaxed!

March 15, 2019 - Friday - I'm visiting a friend I've not seen in about 8 years. I didn't get in until 10:30 last night. Driving in the dark through the last 30 miles or so of Hwy 1 was so much fun. So many twist and turns that went on for about an hour. We stayed up really late last night and then had pho for lunch and spent the afternoon at a nearby beach.

March 14, 2019 - Thursday - Today has been one of the best days ever. Flew to San Francisco this morning and spent the sunny afternoon driving up Hwy 1 with the windows down and a favorite playlist turned up. Should've rented a convertible! It got cloudy toward the end of the day, but I found a place to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.

March 13, 2019 - Wednesday - Today is the first time I've seen Riley since last Wednesday. She got her hair done while I was away these last few days to this new peach/copper color. She's done some different colors in the past but this might be my favorite. In the right light it looks almost metallic. It really complements her complexion.

March 12, 2019 - Tuesday - Today started out so dreary. I took a photo out our office window showing how little you could see but when I left to get a hair cut at lunch I was stopped next to this for a bit and I thought, "At least it's much more colorful even if it's dirty."

March 11, 2019 - Monday - She did it again!!! My coworker has made these before and they've been my photo of the day every time. I didn't want to break with tradition so here they are, red velvet cookies with dark chocolate chips. There aren't too many cookies that I don't like, but these are really close to being my favorites.

March 10, 2019 - Sunday - I did a bunch of the same thing today as I did yesterday. I did manage to sneak in a nap like this guy, however I hope I don't snore like this guy!!! He didn't snore like this the last time I stayed with him. Watched an interesting documentary of the evils of FB and Google's influence called The Creepy Line. Liked the food show better.

March 9, 2019 - Saturday - I was doing a bit better today but still spent a bulk of the day resting my leg. I watched a really good series on Netflixs called Salt, Fat, Acid, Fire. I wanted Italian food the rest of the day. I took this photo of Pancho from an awkward angle that was aggravating my knee and caused me to shake a bit.

March 8, 2019 - Friday - I'm doing a bit better today, but needing to wear this still. After work I went home and packed to go to my friend's to house/dog sit for a few days. Today was another day I didn't remember to take a photo of anything until I was getting ready to go to bed. Mueller, Muelller, anyone... Mueller.

March 7, 2019 - Thursday - I called in to work today. My knee was really not cooperating. I spent the bulk of the day on the couch with the pooches. Riley heard me this morning making my way to my bathroom and said I sounded like a "struggling heffalump."  She can be so funny. I wonder when the last time she watched Winnie-the-Poo.

March 6, 2019 - Wednesday - This week I've been having a bit of a flare up in my knee. I can't complain too much since it's the first in a really long time, but today was the worst it's been so far. My coworker had pho yesterday while I was out with another friend and brought this back for me. It really saved me today by not having to try to get out for lunch.

March 5, 2019 - Tuesday - I was going to meet a friend for lunch and while getting into my car I noticed these on the Jeep parked next to me. When I sat down in my car I also noticed the antennae was replace by a large caliber bullet casing. I wondered about the reception of such a small antennae.

March 4, 2019 - Monday - It was quite late in the evening when I realized that I hadn't taken a photo of anything for today except the pho I had at lunch. Yes, again. I was looking for something to do while I'm in Northern California on an upcoming trip.. This should be a good little getaway and if it works out my 3,000th photo should be memorable.

March 3, 2019 - Sunday - Today we had a get together with a bunch of my cousins from my Dad's side of the family. It was great to spend a couple of hours telling stories and getting caught up with all of them. Lots and lots of laughs. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if all of them could have made it.

March 2, 2019 - Saturday - I spent a part of the day with dad at the Apple store and then came home to my brother doing some yard work at Dads. I then spent quite some time helping him finish up the work he was doing and clearing the branches from the yard. It was drizzling all afternoon but by the end of the afternoon we had a good pile of wood for our next fire.

March 1, 2019 - Friday - Went out to the country to spend the weekend with Dad. We went over to my brother's for a menudo dinner. Mmmmmm. I went out later to help... well more to watch my brother start a fire in his smoker and throw some briskets and sausage on. He's feeding some very lucky co-worker with all this.
