October 30, 2019 - Wednesday - These are the presents my friend made for me the other night. My friend on the left is moving away, she went to Texas. My friend on the right, her bestie, went to OU. I thought these would be great for the two of them. Today we had a lunch and took turns telling her how awesome she is. She is pretty great!

October 29, 2019 - Tuesday - Tonight Riley and I went out to celebrate her promotion. She's now the Sous at the restaurant where she works. When she called she was so excited about getting her coat with her name on it. She sounded so proud of herself. In my head I could still her say, "To Infinity and Beyond!" when she was 2 years old. So proud of my baby!

October 28, 2019 - Monday - One of my favorite coworkers is moving away. Coincidentally, an old friend posted something that I thought would be a great birthday gift for my coworker. Now since she's moving we had to get the gift done a lot sooner than I had  planned. It was nice to spend the evening with my friend and her pups while she did all the work.

October 27, 2019 - Sunday - I had some tenative plans for today that fell through. I'm kinda glad they did. It was such a beautiful day Phoebe and I went to a local park for a long walk. Found out today she is definitely not a fan of rollerbladers. I don't think she'd ever seen one before and she wasn't very cool with people flying past her so quickly.

October 26, 2019 - Saturday - This weekend I'm dog/housing this one again. Today we got out for a little while to pick up dinner. I put her in the back with a blanket to cover the seat. When I came back with the goods she was sitting here. I think she likes the front seat a little bit better.

October 25, 2019 - Friday - After a very long day yesterday, we had a much calmer day in the office. One of the guys brought these in for us all. It was a nice sugar rush for the morning. It was nice not ending the week with such a chaotic day.

October 24, 2019 - Thursday - I made it back in to work today. I'm not 100% but I'm up and about. We were really busy at the office today but one of my coworkers and I managed to get away for a bit of lunch. We went down the street to a place I'd not been. I don't remember what this is called but I picked what my friend had. She has good taste!

October 23, 2019 - Wednesday - I'm doing a lot better today. Didn't make it into the office again but was able to make it to the doctor's.  I'm still moving pretty slow but at least I'm walking. And when I'm not I have these two to keep me company. Finally got a chance to watch El Camino. Makes me want to rewatch Breaking Bad.

October 22, 2019 - Tuesday - Yesterday evening my hip was starting to hurt. My back was still bothering me too, but today it turned into a full on flareup. I could barely walk and for a time I was kinda stuck on my couch. It's the first flareup I've had in about a year and a half so I can't complain. Felt like this mocked me all day. Hahahaha

October 21, 2019 - Monday - I was really looking forward to having a big bowl of pho when I got back to work, but my friend wasn't in the office today. Instead I had lunch with our most recent hire. She's been wanting to go to this ramen place and I don't blame her. This was really good. It had pork belly and poached eggs and other deliciousness.

October 21, 2019 - Sunday - My lower back started bothering me yesterday and I was tempted to not make this happen today. I'm so glad I did. Riley, her BF and I spent a few hours at The Fair. It was such a good day. We had the corn dog, sausage on a stick and one of these. Riley got her favorite, a turkey leg to go! The best was just spending time with the two of them.

October 19, 2019 - Saturday - My layover in Denver was supposed to be overnight. My flight landed a bit early and I was able to catch an earlier flight home. So instead of getting home this morning I got to sleep in my own bed and then spend some time getting my photos all organized. Pancake watched the old Godzilla with Matthew Broderick with me on the couch.

October 18, 2019 - Friday - I had a late evening flight home. It's about a 2 hour drive back to Missoula. I took lots of photos out the window. We did have time for a walk in a park near town when we got there. This was a quick trip but it was completely packed with lots of fun and great scenery. Need to visit my cousin and his family again.

October 17, 2019 - Thursday - Today we drove farther north and stopped at some incredibly beautiful spots. We hiked through a beautiful forest. In spite of the cold and the bit of rain it was such a great time. The occasional cold drop of rain down your back kept you alert. My arthritis has been very cooperative this trip. Can't believe how many steps I've done in two days.

October 16, 2019 - Wednesday - On our second walk of the day we walked to a different part of the river. My cousin and his wife have a favorite park bench out here. We brought a little whiskey and a few cigars and watched the evening go by. They talked about seeing a pair of bald eagles out here and this lone swan.

October 15, 2019 - Tuesday - Sitting in the airport waiting to board my flight I saw a nice pair of very dirty boots walk by. Made you wonder what that person does for a living. Turns out she's a taxidermist, a very interesting, friendly, charming, well manicured taxidermist. She ended up next to me and we talked the whole flight. I couldn't imagine a better start to my vacation.

October 14, 2019 - Monday - I got an early start today. Did my early morning workout, came home and picked up a few things and then went to meet a friend for lunch. After lunch I ran a few errands and then spent some time on a patio doing a little bit of work. This guy showed up just before I left. Spent the evening at a friend's house. Got to see his parents too.

October 13, 2019 - Sunday - I was gone all last week and I feel like I haven't spent any time at home in forever. I ran a few errands today and then came home and relaxed on the couch while I watch the Cowboys play uninspired football. We all took a nap during the game. I did get up and ride my bike a few times so I wasn't a complete slug today.

October 12, 2019 - Saturday - My oldest sister's family really knows how to have a good time. I sat next to her watching her and her longtime friend snack on a few of these. My sister's friend said she remembers when I was born. That means they have been friends a really long time. Lots of family, a bounce house and jello shots, how could you not have a good time?

October 11, 2019 - Friday - I updated the OS on my laptop the other day. I was disappointed that its too old to use my iPad as a second screen. Anyway, I added all the photos I took with my phone yesterday and was going to tag work friends but my computer needs more time to process all my photos.

October 10, 2019 - Thursday - Our agency had it's first Fair Day! I have been fortunate to have worked with great groups of people during my career. Unfortunately I didn't always know I was as lucky as I was at the time. I'm older and wiser now and I recognize that what we have now is something really special. Today was a great day.

October 9, 2019 - Wednesday - My friend's little girl made cookies last night. He brought in a bunch for the office. I picked out a bat and chocolate chip for a mid-morning snack. I used the bat as a mustache for a photo shoot!

October 8, 2019 - Tuesday - We hired a new girl. She started last week and brought this little office decoration in the other day.  She named it Sideshow Bob because of the big, bright top. Our small office group is not so small anymore. Even better we seem to have had a run of great luck hiring some really cool people. This one gets all my Disney references. Finally!!!

October 7, 2019 - Monday - Okay I know I took a photo of this last week, but honestly we come here a lot. Whatever kind of wild blooming purple thing they have here are all gone and this had floated close enough to the edge to get a decent photo without worrying about falling in. Really loving the cooler weather too.

October 6, 2019 - Sunday - Today I was the laziest I've been in a long time. I did some freelance work and watched the Cowboy game. That was disappointing. I cleaned out my wallet. I think this was my bus pass from the day we spent in Amsterdam. I didn't use it much but it looks pretty worn. What a great day that was.

October 5, 2019 - Saturday - Today an old high school friend planned a get together for another mutual high school friend. I had no idea there would be so many faces from high school there. It was a good time. On my way back to my friend's house I did a little grocery shopping. She has a huge basil bush in her garden. I'll be taking advantage of that while I'm here.

October 4, 2019 - Friday - Tonight I start dog/house sitting for a friend. I wish she didn't live so far away. Tonight while we took her puppy for a walk we went over her schedule and habits. We also listened for screech owls. Apparently they're pretty common and frequent her neighborhood. I hope to get a photo of one while I'm here this week.

October 3, 2019 - Thursday - I'm catching up on this on the 14th and I have absolutely no recollection of what I did or why I didn't take photo this day.

October 2, 2019 - Wednesday - Went to see my friend with the new kittens. She decided on names for them. Ironically she named them after the mice in Cinderella, Gus Gus and Jaq. I think this is Jaq. I can't tell them apart, but they're both so friendly and playful. She's right, they're very much like puppies.

October 1, 2019 - Tuesday - The pho place has some lily pads blooming in their koi pond. I didn't have my real camera and it was hard to get a good angle of this without falling in.
