January 30, 2020 - Thursday - Worked quite a bit late tonight and since I have a photo of Zak and Pancake the last few days it only seemed fair to have a photo of Biscuit. She and Pancake are getting along even better with Zak. Even laying near him on the couch. Maybe one day I'll get the three of them in one photo.

January 29, 2020 - Wednesday - I've been working late the last couple of days. The rest of the week is probably going to be the same. I have a lot to get done especially since I'll be out of the office most of next week enjoying my Christmas present from Riley. I took this photo of Pancake while she was intently watching Riley cook in the kitchen.

January 28, 2020 - Tuesday - I didn't want to but I went in to work today. I'm not really feeling any better but I have so much work that needs to get done by the end of the week. I group of us went to my favorite pho place for lunch. I love pho on any day, but today the chicken noodle pho made me feel quite a bit better. These are growing out front.

January 27, 2020 - Monday - Spent the day dying on the couch. Okay I'm not dying but I feel really crappy. I few days before I adopted Zak I bought a blanket so he could lay on the couch. Within the first few minutes he did this and then never did it again. He did the exact same thing to his bed in the kennel. It's like he just wanted to make it his own.

January 26, 2020 - Sunday - I think I came back from that quick trip with a cold. I felt a little crappy on the drive home yesterday and woke up feeling much worse. Zak didn't let me sleep in this morning but I did sleep most of the afternoon and he was pretty cooperative. I was lazy on the couch all day. Thankfully there was a Breaking Bad marathon on.

January 25, 2020 - Saturday - A friend ask me to drive her to a funeral kind of last minute. I made some arrangements for Zak with Riley and we headed out. We made a few stops after to see friends and family. This little one was at one of the homes where we stopped. She was very soft and friendly but had an unusually long tail for such a tiny little puppy.

January 24, 2020 - Friday - Today a group of us decided to end the week with a little drink. One of my coworkers was in a meeting and delaying our appointed drinking time. I took this photo to send to him to remind him to wrap up his meeting. Where is his priorities, right?

January 23, 2020 - Thursday - I worked late tonight. When I got home I was really tired and didn't feel much like cooking. I made myself a sandwich and snacked on these for dinner. It was kinda a long day.

January 22, 2020 - Wednesday - I'll be working late pretty much all week. I have two video projects that I need to get first round rough cuts out Thursday and Friday. I had to take some screenshots on my phone to mock up some phone captures and I think I took this photo on accident but with all the work I did it was the only photo from today. My desk is a bit messy.

January 21, 2020 - Tuesday - Well that didn't take long! I don't know what I was up to today but all I know is that I woke up the next morning and I hadn't taken a photo all day. 21 days into this new decade and I've missed my first day. Oh well.

January 20, 2020 - Monday - Back to work today. I wasn't ready! I did get pho for lunch so that was a win. One of the guys in the office brought in some Girl Scout Cookies. They were the perfect mid-afternoon snack.

January 19, 2020 - Sunday - I went to see another friend today. I think this is the first fire she's had in the chimenea. It took a while getting the wet wood to catch but it was worth it in the end. We even enjoyed dinner out here. There was a nice sunset in the background too. Nice relaxing way to end a busy weekend.

January 18, 2020 - Saturday - Today was a full day. Some of the family got together to take dad to get some new boots here in Dallas. We got lunch first too. Later in the afternoon I went to see a friend I haven't seen since the first of December. This is Jaq. He's a pretty cool cat as far as cats go. He was in my photo of the day back in September.

January 17, 2020 - Friday - Today was a really good day. We got a really big project out the door at work and then we all went out to Rodeo Goat for lunch. What a really good burger. Later in the afternoon one of our freelancers brought in their Oculus Quest for us to play. It was a great way to end the day for all of us. Lots of fun.

January 16, 2020 - Thursday - I have been waiting since December 14th for this. After helping my aunt cut up the menudo she cooked it all and put some aside in the freezer for me. Dad had it at his place for a while and I brought it home not too long ago. Tonight is the night. It was delicious.

January 15, 2020 - Wednesday - I don't know what's worse, to have no photo or a bad photo. Either way this photo is the only photo I took today. I don't drink sodas hardly at all anymore. Usually when I do it's a Coke with a bit of Jack. This evening I had one with some Mexican food for dinner.

January 14, 2020 - Tuesday - I was out running errands after work and came across these. Nutter Butters are good. Chocolate is really good. Peanut butter and chocolate is delicious. Theoretically these should be amazing. To say they were disappointing is a tremendous understatement. Maybe its because they're not shaped like peanuts.

January 13, 2020 - Monday - This is a late evening snack for me. Zak was very curious too. He was being so good and using his manners I couldn't help but share. To me there's not a whole lot funnier than watching a dog eat something crunchy like apples or chips. He really likes apples, especially Honeycrips!

January 12, 2020 - Sunday - It took a couple of days but with some patience and lots of love he's back to his calm lovable self. I feel bad for this guy with his various anxieties but it so rewarding to see the normal, calm, playful dog that comes out with just a little bit of consistency, structure and routine. Love that face!

January 11, 2020 - Saturday - We wrapped up our fun yesterday in time to get home before all the sirens started going off. It got really cold last night and we woke up to this this morning. Later today it was really sunny and nice out. I love my Texas home even with all the crazy weather.

January 10, 2020 - Friday - Today we didn't go to work. We went to play! We're celebrating our agency's birthday at Main Event playing games, bowling and laser tag. Not a bad way to spend a Friday. My friend here appears to be doing a little drinking and driving, but it's okay this thing doesn't go anywhere!

January 9, 2020 - Thursday - So Zak didn't handle my being away so well. He actually did good at my dad's but once he got home with Riley and I wasn't there he became very anxious. I came home to a mess yesterday and today. Even though I worked late I drove out to dad's to get his kennel. Hopefully I can turn this regression around quickly.

January 8, 2020 - Wednesday - My friend and I were both back at work today and we both went to get pho for lunch. It was as good as always. When I got home last night I was exhausted I didn't even unpack my car. Coming out onto the garage roof there was a beautiful Texas sunset welcoming back.

January 7, 2020 - Tuesday - This morning was our last in Mexico. It was overcast but the temperature was great. After breakfast we collected our bags and made our way to the airport. It's been a great trip, getting to spend so much time with two great families. In spite of the accident I couldn't have asked for more.

January 6, 2020 - Monday - We spent pretty much the whole day on the beach. It was even nicer than yesterday. After a really good night's sleep and a long hot shower my leg was doing better. I still spent most of the time relaxing in a lounge chair and taking photos of our group paddle boarding, swimming, playing volleyball and just playing in the sand.

January 5, 2020 - Sunday - We left Holbox this morning to head to our hotel home until our trip is over. We got checked in and then headed for the beach. The rooms were really great but the beach was even better. The water was cool and it was a little breezy so it was actually nicer sitting in a lounge chair in the shade. It made the food taste even better.

January 4, 2020 - Saturday - We started the day with a ride all over checking out different beaches and sites on the island. The day was really overcast and windy so the beaches weren't at their best. We did have a really great early dinner and relaxing evening. Had my first cigar of the trip. Great evening with friends.

January 3, 2020 - Friday - Today we left our AirBnB to come to Holbox. What a cool little island. It's not fully developed and being a small island it's lacking in some ways but way cool in others. It has a certain kind of energy that's not like any of the other places we've visited so far. One of the guys in our group found a fence post that he made into a perfect cane. Game changer.

January 2, 2020 - Thursday - Today I went deep sea fishing with the guys from our group. Its my first time and to say I don't have sea legs is a drastic understatement. I took a spill and injured left my knee and ankle. I'm thankful, it could have been so much worse. It also  did give me time to get caught up on this website and go through all the photos I've taken so far.

January 1, 2020 - Wednesday - After a really fun night with lots of laughs, mariachi's, sparklers and confetti cannons we slept in a bit. Part of our group was going to swim with the dolphins today. I have my own feelings about animal tourism so decided to sit this one out. They ended up scheduling it for tomorrow. I got to see this guy do his tricks for another group while we waited.
