March 30, 2021 - Tuesday - I've not made this in a while and I've not made this for lunch before. Today I got a little break around lunch and this really doesn't take very long to make. I had some mushrooms that I needed to cook so I added those to what is usually just a tomato and pesto dish.

March 29, 2021 - Monday - Riley was actually excited for me to be making guacamole. That's a big deal seeing how she doesn't like guac at all. She finally tried some the last time I made it at home and she changed her tune.

March 28, 2021 - Sunday - The last time I ordered cookies I got the Stuffed Carrot Cake and the Banana Cream Pie. This time I order the Brookie (Brownie Cookie) and Strawberries and Cream (not pictured). I was also surprised with a dozen off menu Red Velvet with Dark Chocolate Chips. March 27, 2021 - Saturday - Today I spent the day with my friend and his family. We all went out to pick tulips for his wife. I took a few photos of him and his family too. After we left we did some shopping for lunch. There's a great meat market near his house and I made guac as usual. I also got some more Sparkle cookies delivered!!!

March 26, 2021 - Friday - I ordered some homemade jams from East Dallas Marmalady. She's an old coworker of mine and recommended I try them with biscuits when she dropped them off today. This is the best batch of biscuits I've made and her Very Berry jam was delicious on them.

March 25, 2021 - Thursday - Went to see my friend across town. We went out to dinner later but we spent some time out back playing fetch with her two pups. Look at this face. This kid has so much personality in his looks. I'm usually not a fan of small dogs but this is one really cute little guy.

March 24, 2021 - Wednesday - Met my friend for dinner. Our trio is still down to two so it was just the two of us which worked out. Sharing this with two others would have been just sad. It was good to see my friend and get caught up with what's going on with her and her family.

March 23, 2021 - Tuesday - I had an appointment to get my hair cut today at lunch. Parking for my haircut is in the same place where I used to work for years. This is the view out the glass elevator outside where I used to sit. I had a lot of great times working in this building and made a lot of really great friends.

March 22, 2021 - Monday - It seems like it's been forever since I've seen it rain during the day. Today I went out and tried to get a photo of the rain hitting this little shelf outside on the side porch. I couldn't seem to catch a good splash. I guess it wasn't raining hard enough even though I was getting wet trying.

March 21, 2021 - Sunday - One of my favorites, Blade Runner. Sometimes I'll have a movie on while I'm on the couch working on my laptop and I'll "watch it" while I'm getting stuff done. Some I've seen so many times I can hear it and know what's going on. Other's I actually watch the whole time. This one I watched. So well done!

March 20, 2021 - Saturday - I picked up some croissants again for the first time in a while. I've been out of cookies for a while and was craving something sweet. I still can't get over how simple, easy and fast it is to make something so deliciously crispy and chocolaty.

March 19, 2021 - Friday - Zak likes when I leave the back door open. He'll go and lay in the sun for a while and nap. The light from the camera caught his attention.

March 18, 2021 - Thursday - So I've finally got started on my movies from the 80s. I did a post asking for recommendations for movies from the 80s and got a really long list and will be in the 80s for a long while. I've seen most of them but they're worth seeing again. This is Robin William's first movies, Popeye.

March 17, 2021 - Wednesday - I was able to wrap up my work day a little early today. I was sitting on the couch and Zak decided to come keep me company. He doesn't usually stay next to me unless I'm actively petting him, but today he came, laid down and went right to sleep. I guess he's thankful I let him sleep with me last night because he's afraid of bad weather.

March 16, 2021 - Tuesday - I got another project kinda late in the day. This time I'm making this bee illustration wiggle a little bit and morph into a real bee. I'm getting a lot of practice animating little animals lately. I went ahead and did this tonight given I'm still working on making humming birds fly in other videos tomorrow.

March 15, 2021 - Monday - I've not made this in a really long time. While I was at the grocery store the other day I say they had orzo on sale so I bought a few boxes. I'll be making this again soon. I did however forget to get fresh sage so while this was good it was totally missing that.

March 14, 2021 - Sunday - I was taking the pups out to do their business this afternoon and  saw this outside. I have so many photos of the dogs already so I decided this would be my photo of the day.

March 13, 2021 - Saturday - I stopped by the grocery store on the way back yesterday and picked up some tomatoes. I've had this on my mind for a couple days now but completely forgot to get some parmesan or feta. Cooking in someone else's kitchen really throws me off. Love the red and green in this.

March 12, 2021 - Friday - A while back Riley got an opportunity to do some modeling for Earthbound Trading Co. It's been forever since I've been in a mall but it was really cool to see this huge photo of my baby hanging in the store window. Not only is she kinda cute she knows how to butcher a whole pig too and make croissants.

March 11, 2021 - Thursday - This little girl is the quintessential little sister. The bugs her big brother all the time. She doesn't want to play fetch but she wants any toy her big brother is playing with. I took a video of her being a pain in the butt and sent it to my little sister and of course she denies it entirely.

March 10, 2021 - Wednesday - I'm in a house with two Corgis until Sunday so you can expect more photos of this guy and his little sister. Both of them are very suspicious of the noises the camera makes and were not sitting still for their photos. This was the best and only nonblurry photo I could get of them awake.

March 9, 2021 - Tuesday - At the end of the day I packed some clothes and ran a couple of errands and then drove out to my friend's house. I'll be dog sitting for the rest of the week. When I got there I saw this on the counter. I wish I had science projects like this when I was a kid. I did threaten to eat her homework!

March 8, 2021 - Monday - I was pretty busy all day today with regular work. When I was done with that I did some more work for the client who's launching her new site in the next day or so. I took some of the video we shot the other day and put it together with a little animation I made with her logo. It's really fun working with a client who has an amazing product.

March 7, 2021 - Sunday - Today was an amazing day for lots of reasons. Mostly it was because we saw one of the most amazing single car accidents ever and watched in amazement as the two people inside miraculously crawled out of the wreckage virtually unharmed. You haven't seen people hug until you see them hug because they thought they almost died. Perspective.

March 6, 2021 - Saturday - We had a photo shoot this morning with a client who's getting her new site ready to launch. We did some more photos of cookies but mostly shots of her for the site and social. The name of her company is Sparkle All Over Bakery. We leaned into that quite a bit for this series of photos.

March 5, 2021 - Friday - I have no idea what was going on Friday except that I was pretty busy with work and my knee was giving me some issues all day. I remember thinking, "Don't forget to take a photo of something." and then I would get distracted by something and forget.

March 4, 2021 - Thursday - This evening after work I went out to see a friend I've not seen in a long while. It started to sprinkle just a little bit on the drive. I got this while traffic slowed down a little. I like the bright spots from where the drops on the windshield caught the sun.

March 3, 2021 - Wednesday - I came across this today and since I was tired of watching training videos I left it on. Pancake doesn't watch TV much anymore but she was all involved when this one started. After about 15 minutes she came over to the couch and only watched the movie from time to time. She's so much more calm than she used to be.

March 2, 2021 - Tuesday - Today was another long day of work. By the time I was done all I could think of for dinner was breakfast and that meant oatmeal and toast. I'm out of apples and brown sugar so I made this with cinnamon and honey and a little bit of butter. A warm bowl of oatmeal was just the way to end the day. I may start tomorrow just like this.

March 1, 2021 - Monday - I spent a big chunk of the day pushing this around. I didn't have a whole lot of time to do much else and I don't expect tomorrow will be much different. Remember how I was just saying how good it is to be employed again? Hahaha They're making up for my first day being a holiday!
