September 29, 2021 - Wednesday - My friend and I were talking about loading the dishwasher yesterday. This is how I put in my silverware. She says she puts hers in the other way around, except for the knives. That just seems wrong to me but I don't think I've ever asked anyone before. How do you load your silverware?

September 28, 2021 - Tuesday - I met a friend I've not seen in forever for lunch today. We met at one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We both got the garlic naan becuase if only one of us had it the other wouldn't be able to talk to them after. Hahahaha This stuff is not joke but is really good if you like garlic. It was good to see my friend today.

September 27, 2021 - Monday - I went to get a haircut to day. The girl who cuts my hair usually tells me, "At least you have hair." when I mention how much gray I have. This time she told me she would get me white apron next time so the dark hair shows up more. She's been cutting my hair for about 20 years now.

September 26, 2021 - Sunday - I went out to the country again to see the family. I spent some time at my brother's watching some football and then I went over to my dad's to install a new app on his AppleTV to replace his cable. We watched most of the 3p game at his place.

September 25, 2021 - Saturday - I made breakfast for dinner again. I love making a big pot of beans. The smell in the house reminds me of when I was little. I remember going to work with my dad when I was really young and she would send a bunch of tacos for us for breakfast. Mom was a great cook.

September 24, 2021 - Friday - With the introduction of some new cookie flavors Sparkle All Over had to cancel a couple of her lower performing flavors. One of those is one of my favorites, the Stuffed Carrot Cake. I think if you tried them you would order them. I ordered these the last day before we took them off the site. I will be so sad once these are all gone.

September 23, 2021 - Thursday - After the shoot this past weekend our client sent me home with a box full of cookies. I lost a lot of weight when I was sick and if I want to keep that going I can't eat all of these. Fortunately I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight and I can pawn off the rest of these on her. They are so good but I don't need to eat them all.

September 22, 2021 - Wednesday - I was crazy busy all day today. Riley went out to run some errands this afternoon and brought me back a burger. It's a sad looking burger but Zak does not discriminate. Usually I get him his own burger but Riley isn't so thoughtful. He's waiting so patiently. I can't resist his face plus he has pretty good manners.

September 21, 2021 - Tuesday - Zak has started sleeping in my bed again in the last week or so. I don't know why but it's nice to have him keep my blankets in place. I woke up pretty early and he was still sleeping and snoring quite loudly with his paws up in the air. As soon as he heard I was awake he came up for belly rubs.

September 20, 2021 - Monday - I had a pretty full day of work to do today, but in the middle of the afternoon our new girl in the office called with problems installing the server access software on her new M1 laptop. It a couple of hours to finally get it installed and get her access to our cloud server. It was cool seeing a lot of the team at the office.

September 19, 2021 - Sunday - I have a very small patch of grass behind the patio where the orange lilies, lots of bushes and monkey grass grow. I never noticed before but it's actually lined with bricks like this. I saw this while taking out the trash this morning.

September 18, 2021 - Saturday - Today was a really good day. I woke up hurting quite a bit but I had another shoot to do with Sparkle All Over. I know I've bragged about this lady's cookies before but she never ceases to blow me away with the flavors she comes up with. Her new cookies are no less impressive.

September 17, 2021 - Friday - This isn't a good photo but the girls, Biscuit and Pancake, still don't have much to do with Zak. So in the rare instance when one of the girls even gets near Zak I try to get a photo of them. I can't believe Pancake has the whole couch but she came down and curled up behind Zak.

September 16, 2021 - Thursday - Riley brought me a cookie from her work. I tastes pretty good but I guess I'm a bit spoiled by my clients cookies. But what it may lack a bit in flavor it more than makes up for in size. I only had half of the cookie and only ate half of that. Originally it's about the size of a salad plate.

September 15, 2021 - Wednesday - Today for the first time in forever I took a lunch. I'll have plenty to get done later in the day but nothing that's due today. I met a friend at Mi Cocina for lunch and ordered one of my favorite drinks that's not a Jack and Coke. This is a Pineapple Mojito. It's delicious on nice day on the patio.

September 14, 2021 - Tuesday - I've been think for a while about getting a new camera. I spent some time this evening perusing the Nikon website. Maybe I'll just get a new lens instead.

September 13, 2021 - Monday - About half way through the day I realized that I had my friend's credit card and she had mine. We had dinner last week and mixed them then. We both went out this past weekend and used each other's cards for all sorts of purchases without issue. Today we got to meet again to exchange them.

September 12, 2021 - Sunday - Riley's BF asked if I would make pancakes today for lunch. He likes my Pancakes unlike Riley. We had a few older bananas so these are Banana/Dark Chocolate Chip pancakes that turned out pretty good. Riley is so missing out!

September 11, 2021 - Saturday - Today I had lunch with a friend that I've not seen in a really long time. We spent a few hours getting caught up. Afterward I went out to visit Dad. We got him an Apple TV for his new big TV and since he finally installed it I was able to finally set that up for him. He can stream until the cows come home now.

September 10, 2021 - Friday - Today was another long day of work and since I've had a photo of Zak and Pancake recently I decided to get one of Biscuit in one of her favorite spots, She's had squished one of the back cushions of the couch where she spend a good amount of the day. It's funny to see  her hope over Zak when he's on the couch.

September 9, 2021 - Thursday - I met a friend I've not seen in a long while for dinner. We had a little bit of ice cream for dessert after. We spent a long time getting caught up but after we said our "Goodbyes" I walked to my car. There's a little seating area in the middle of the shopping center and I saw two having a late evening picnic.

September 8, 2021 - Wednesday - Tonight I'm sitting on my couch working on yet another video project. I didn't think anyone would want to see another photo of my screen so I took this photo of Pancake lying next to me. She's such a sweetie but she can act really spoiled sometimes.

September 7, 2021 - Tuesday - My primary job for the bulk of my career has been preparing files to go to print. I've done all kinds of print jobs. The majority of my work these days is video animation and video editing. I've always enjoyed doing this a little but the pandemic has given me the time to really learn a lot and advance my skill set.

September 6, 2021 - Monday - I spent some of the day working on another video for work. When Riley got home from work she made herself breakfast bagels for dinner. I could smell the bacon cooking. Unfortunately I already ate, but she was nice enough to let me have a bite of one of them. Zak was not so lucky.

September 5, 2021 - Sunday - My arthritis was back under control today, but my neck and back are still bothering me. I spent some time on the couch this morning watching The Dear Hunter. Not a feel good movie at all, but a pretty good movie. My noble steed Zak spent some quality time on the couch with me.

September 4, 2021 - Saturday - Since I got sick I've been waking with a really stiff neck every day and since I got back from my trip my back has been spasming a bit. Both have been getting better but I spent some quality time with my heating pad today. My arthritis was not cooperating yesterday, today isn't much better.

September 3, 2021 - Friday - Today was another long day of work before the long weekend. I spent the day doing a couple of videos that will be used for YouTube ads. The one I did for Mother's Day is still my favorite but these are fun to do and are a good break from doing print work all the time.

September 2, 2021 - Thursday - Today was a really long day of work. I spent most of the day working on social media images and video for one of our clients. We're already doing preparing for Halloween and we have a lot to do over the next couple of days. I'm glad I have a comfortable office chair.

September 1, 2021 - Wednesday - I ordered groceries a few days before I left for my trip. I was missed at work and it showed today. I was really busy all day and when I was done Riley and I decided I would make hot dogs for dinner. I love my hot dogs with lots of mustard, pickle relish, chili and cheddar. I don't understand people who put ketchup on them.
