March 30, 2022 - Wednesday - Got some bad news today at work before I took my photo of the day. I didn't think about at all after. My first miss of the year.

March 29, 2022 - Tuesday - Today we had a company outing at Top Golf. We were supposed to have it last month but it coincided with the ice storm we had. It was good to get to see everyone in person instead of just on Zoom.

March 28, 2022 - Monday - Today was another long day at work. Not as bad as last week but still very busy. I think the best part of the day is relaxing on the couch with the dogs.

March 27, 2022 - Sunday - Today we had a photoshoot with Sparkle All Over. We met at her bakery and got some great photos and video of her making some of my favorite cookies. This is the Texas Sheet Cake and if you're a fan of the cake you'd love these!

March 26, 2022 - Saturday - My cookie-making friend is having another pop-up, but this time it's much closer to home. I went to visit and get a few cookies and a few photos. Ran into a friend from work there picking up some cookies too. Forgot how much I hate the weekend traffic in Deep Ellum.

March 25, 2022 - Friday - This morning I got up and went into the office. It was supposed to be a simple reboot of a new computer from a backup from another computer. I had to do some OS updates first that was bit of an issue. When it finally came time to transfer the files I got this error. It was a bit of a wasted morning.

March 24, 2022 - Thursday - After three very long days or work tonight I decided not to work late and spend time with someone other than my computer mouse. I met a friend for dinner at a pizza place near her place. They have great salads and really good pizzas. It was good to get out of the house for a bit and not think of work.

March 23, 2022 - Wednesday - I can't remember the last time I ate cereal from a box. Last week when I ordered groceries I got some Honey Nut Cheerios and some Frosted Flakes. It wasn't until I poured a little afternoon snack today that I realized these come in heart shapes too. I thought it was just a marketing picture on the box.

March 22, 2022 - Tuesday - Today was almost as long as yesterday. And like yesterday when I was done I went to the couch to turn off my brain. This time Pancake came and laid down next my head on the pillow. She's being more affectionate that usual lately. All I have to say is, "Who's my baby?" and she snuggles up against me.

March 21, 2022 - Monday - Today was a really, really long day at work. Which is about 15 feet from where I'm sitting here with Pancake.  When I finally wrapped up the day I laid on the couch for a bit and Pancake was the first to come jump in my lap. She's like a little hot water bottle.

March 20, 2022 - Sunday - This was one of the snacks we only got at my grandparent's house as a kid. We called them plastic wienies. because they snapped when you broke them. They'll stain your clothes and fingers but they make this old guy feel like a kid again. They taste like my childhood. Thank you to my cousin for picking some up for me on her last trip back to see family.

March 19, 2022 - Saturday - Today was a very full day. Some family came over and helped me get a new fridge. I'm pretty excited about that one. We went out to lunch after. Then after a bit of work I went to visit my cookie making friend in her kitchen. There's nothing like the smell of Strawberries & Creme cookies baking.

March 18, 2022 - Friday - This is the last of my tomato soup. It was what I had for lunch today with a bit of warm bread. The soup was really good but I wish I had better bread. The dogs seemed to really like it with just a little tiny bit of butter. They were being so good and minding their manners they deserved treats.

March 17, 2022 - Thursday - Today I met a friend for lunch that I've not seen since before the pandemic. The place she picked has a Jack & Coke slurpee machine. Score. It was so good to see her and get caught up on all that's gone on and changed in the last two years. Lots of good stories and lots of good laughs at lunch.

March 16, 2022 - Wednesday - I bought Zak a new bed for the living room since I moved his kennel. He either loves it or he loves his old spot because he's either in his new bed or on the couch. This is him coming to lay next to me while I was doing some work on the couch at lunch today.

March 15, 2022 - Tuesday - Today I got out to meet a friend I've not seen in a long while. We met at our favorite Indian place. We both love the garlic naan which is a good thing since it's incredibly strong. We even tried the samosas today too. It was good to visit with my friend.

March 14, 2022 - Monday - It was such a nice cool morning at that became I nice warm afternoon until the weather turned and it started hailing for a bit. Zak has gotten so much better about not losing it over bad weather but this was too much for him. He was pacing all over the house. His kennel is too close to a window for his liking too.

March 13, 2022 - Sunday - Today I did quite a bit out of the house and didn't take a photo of any of it. When I got back home I took a photo of this. After buying a dining table I had to rearrange some furniture in the house. I needed to measure things to make sure they fit. Zak was not happy when I moved his kennel.

March 12, 2022 - Saturday - My friend had a pop-up sale the other day and I stopped by. She had some cookies that are not on her menu. This is an Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip with Walnuts and Pecans. They taste better than that name is long. I should have bought more of them. If I had this wouldn't be my last one.

March 11, 2022 - Friday - I know this isn't a good photo but it's the only photo I took today. Biscuit has really started to warm up to Zak or at least be tolerant of him. She'll walk up to him and sit near him and it makes him so nervous. It's funny because he's so careless around the girls when he runs by them or coming for treats.

March 10, 2022 - Thursday - Riley's roses won't last too much longer I expect. They're quite dark now and starting to turn purple in some places. I wanted to get at least one more photo of them before they're gone. I love the deep dark colors of them now.

March 9, 2022 - Wednesday - Unexpectedly I was able to get away with my friend and coworker for our favorite lunch. We've been so busy with work, getting away for lunch has been just a dream. So glad it's finally worked out again. The P22 is the best.

March 8, 2022 - Tuesday - Look at all those cherries! This is my last Dark Chocolate Cherry Walnut Cookie. Until I can order you again!

March 7, 2022 - Monday - Toward the end of the day I realized that I hadn't taken a photo today. I looked over and saw Biscuit being cute. She's really only cute when she's asleep.

March 6, 2022 - Sunday - I have no memory of what I did today. I know I had dinner plans that got canceled and I was kinda happy about it. I think I was being lazy all day. I know I spent some quality time with the pups on the couch. I love Pancake's golden, honey color.

March 5, 2022 - Saturday - Today I went to a friend's house for dinner. She volunteered for something at work and asked me to get some photos of Phoebe. She's been my photo of the day before and she's as cute as ever. We had a great meal afterward too. It was a good to spend the evening with the three of them.

March 4, 2022 - Friday - I had hoped to build a dining table and had put off buying a dining table until now. I need a surface to photograph on and it was delivered today. They don't offer in home delivery or assembly because of COVID so after work I had to do it myself. When I was done I thought this would be a good way to break it in.

March 3, 2022 - Thursday - Today was much more manageable work wise. I was able to finish up on time and go meet some friends for dinner. It's been over a year since the three of us have met, but with our friend having to come into town more often for work it looks like our trio is going to be trio more often.

March 2, 2022 - Wednesday - Riley says Biscuit is so ugly she's cute. Mostly shes just googley-eyed like a chameleon that needs dental work, but from time to time for split seconds she does look like a cute little puppy. I managed to catch one of those moments today while I was sitting at my desk.

March 1, 2022 - Tuesday - Today wasn't a bad day but it was a very wrong day. I spent five and half hours today working on the wrong job. At the end of the day when I sent in my work I got the bad news. All I could do was laugh then I went outside and picked up dog poop for a bit. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day again.
